Cerberus Pattern Hound

Developed after the Hellhound pattern, the Cerberus came from a surplus of hounds, with a limited amount of qualified Handler applicants. The idea was to artificially create a higher class of hounds, that could provide basic discipline and structure to the Hellhound pattern, that suffers from a break down in order when not provided with enough attention with a dedicated Handler.

The Cerberus pattern tends towards more dominant and aggressive hounds, with larger, stronger, or in rare circumstances less intellectually degraded. These hounds keep their Handler’s pack in line with a combination of sexual & physical dominance. This often includes periodic and seemingly random beatings, and fights set up between Hellhounds, with the loser often receiving either a beating, or being used sexually by the rest of the pack.

In combat Cerberus pattern pilot Theaboros MPD, serving as a forward command and control for their Handler, by checking their packmates with nips and swipes, keeping them on mission. Equipped with more advanced ECM and communication equipment the TMPD is a lighter and faster mech than the AMPD of the Hellhounds, and the GMPD of the Huodou pattern hounds.

Despite their more dominant demeanor a Cerberus pattern in fact requires more attention from Handlers to prevent mutinous or testing behaviors. Cerberus pattern will often test the boundaries of new Handlers. The rules and punishments will need to be upheld rigorously as if not a Cerberus pattern can be prone to preemptively demote a weak Handler into a kennel menial.
