Some spoilers for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom follow. Please read at your own discretion.

That's right, folks. Today is the day we, finally, collectively woke up from our slumber as a semi-naked elven guy with a magical arm, stuck on an island in the sky. And it felt great.

That's because Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: #tears of the kingdom has finally arrived after a long, long six-year wait following the frankly magnificent Breath of the Wind. Naturally, this being release day, there is not a wealth we can say about this game for risk of spoilers. What we can say, however, is we have spent the last week calming ourselves and cleaning our respective apartments in preparation as if it were the arrival of The Second Coming themselves. Which, in a way, it sort of is.

The fandom community is all at sea and sky with a wealth of fan art, memes, gifs, and discourse celebrating this magnificent achievement. Excuse us for a moment while we go a little feral.
