the gap in my resume is when I was imagining two repressed homos go at it raw. in my brain
Iāve said something similar before but withinĀ the next 20 years thereās going to be a crisis in the Middle East/Southern Asia which will be directly traceable back to the Trump Administrationās decision to deliberately ruin the Obama Administrationās attempts at thawing relations with Iran

Gosh I wish motorcycles werenāt death machines they look so fun
My dad isnāt one of those parents that is like youāre gonna be rich and youāre gonna be a doctor or whatever. He only has three conditions. 1. Donāt get involved in organized crime 2. Donāt join the military and 3. Donāt drive a motorcycle
Problem is though. Motorcycles look so fun.
So in the US they say thereās a 1% chance of getting in a motorcycle accident. Thatās just per year though. If you stretch that over 20 years that gets up to like 18.3% which is a much higher gamble when you think about it. And motorcyclists make up 15% of fatal accidents while only representing 6% of vehicles.
They look so fun though.

earlier this week Twitter user ppuccin0 tweeted about a fashion article that advised against tops with large floral patterns, saying the wearer was in danger of looking like a "ććć³ćć£ććÆćć°ćć," or a "romantic auntie." the tweet went viral with many agreeing that a "romantic auntie" sounded like a very nice thing to aspire to be, and some even posted illustrations or photos tagged with the trend

IT GOT BETTER
These are two sides of the same coin. Source: Have you seen my closet?
the japanese ā-ne?ā particle and the british slang term āinnitā serve the same function
Standard English: Itās cold, isnāt it?
Japanese: Samui desu ne?
British: Itās fuckinā freezinā, innit?
i have to do everything around here
i hate this cause i did japanese for like a year and this explains the use of the -ne particle WAYYYY better than my teachers ever did. it took me ages to comprehend what this post makes abundantly clear.
my teachers: its like a, a little rise at the end of a sentence, to show that you are seeking a response, while not warranting the -ka particle which would make it a proper question.
me: ok. i guess i get that??
this post: its like sayingĀ āinnit?āĀ
me: oh. oh no.
fun fact: afaik, "-ne" was inherited from the Portuguese settlers/priests that stayed in Japan in the 16th century. It comes from "né?", which the contraction of "não é?", "isn't it?".
It's LITERALLY "innit".
oh so like "eh" in canadian

Wieliczka salt mine, Poland
In southern Poland, Lake Wessel lies inky and unmoving in the deep. Filling the bottom of an old salt mine, itās just one component of the UNESCO World Heritage Site which has been a functioning mine since the 13th century. Featuring supreme carpentry, centuries-old brickwork and ornate salt-crystal chandeliers in cavernous dining rooms, this fantastical setting is a favorite for the Polish film industry.Ā The mineās attractions include dozens of statues and four chapels carved out of the rock salt by the miners. The older sculptures have been supplemented with new carvings made by contemporary artists. About 1.2 million people visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine annually.Ā
