Why do the two reblogs read like a soldier dying in their friends arms and talking about when they’ll get back home to give them a bit of comfort before they die
because have you seen the economy and society lately
I'm seeing more and more AI witch hunts. Saw if first with artists. Every bit of their art was dissected in the hopes of finding someone who was using AI. Their simple mistakes were now used as a gotcha, proof that they were using AI. People demanded proof based off their own insane conclusions and got upset if artists didn't want to play along. Or if they weren't quick enough to respond and now they're on the online jumbotron of thousands of people accusing them of something they didn't do just because one person felt like they were doing the right thing.
Now I'm seeing it with authors too.
Every normal and routine method of writing is now seen as AI. They are calculating how much someone can write in a sitting and saying there's no way it's possible because they themselves can't do it. Certain prose is now not allowed because only AI uses it. Can't repeat yourself, you can't have similar lines, and you can't make a mistake otherwise you're definitely using AI. People went from defending creators with pitchforks to being the first in line to use one. And for what? False brownie points on the internet? It's fucking insane

Don’t invite me anywhere last minute I enjoy doing nothing so I need to know ahead of time if my plan to do nothing needs to be changed
This is legit and people don’t realize it.
“hey what are you doing?” “nothing” “oh great! so you are avaliab-” “no you don’t understand. I’m doing nothing.”
I’m doing nothing. Actively. It’s important.
This is essential nothing I’m doing.

IDOL I, Episode 6
i think there's something really interesting and nice about how sooyoung is in her 30s while sena is a dedicated fangirl at the same time as she has a full career. because the conversations about fame and love and being seen as a shell that sells things and says buzzwords wouldn't have the same understated and genuine feeling if sena wasn't old enough and mature enough to just let go of her preconceived notions of raik and see him as a person.
she doesn't respond, she doesn't yell out endless compliments to negate what he's saying. she just looks at him with what i think is a mix of emotions. it's like, a few episodes ago she realized that it's dumb to feel jealous of his ex because the actual human being raik is not her romantic prop. and in this convo i think that's continuing, it's both her sadness at raik seeing himself as essentially not existing unless someone's looking at him, combined with a realization that she knew as much about these true feelings as she knew he was lactose intolerant.
and again, she listens to him quietly, and in a sense i think she's also observing him -- not as a fan but as a fellow person. observing what raik isn't seeing about himself while he says these things. i think the surprise and maturity and understated compassion that sooyoung projects in this scene is really wonderful, probably because of her own maturity and maybe because she also is/was an idol. i just really like the dynamic of these two right now
What I like about Raik and Sena's relationship
I absolutely adore this two.
Firstly their relationship started as Idol/fan on the surface level, but it runs deeper. In truth, he was her inspiration to live, and she was his inspiration to make music. How beautiful.
Then it turns into proper work relationship- lawyer/client. Sena shut her fangirl mode and cared for a broken Raik. When she overcame her feelings for him, he begins to fall. Tables turned, heh?
Then into the proper relationship. I love that it comes across that Raik is the bold one here (we saw him rather passive in previous episode in other things, manipulated by people around him), and its clear that he has previous dating experience. Sena, who is so confident in other things, really shows that its her first time in a romantic relationship. Look how unsure and shy is in this topic, and Raik is totally shameless. I really enjoyed that. Don't you too?
However, it makes me sad that rating of the series dropped significantly in the last two episodes. People are ranting that it became boring, it lost it's message, Raik and Sena's characters are butchered (the scandal scene, because Raik saved Sena from press causing more scandal, which seems totally unprofessional), mystery is dragged too long, and the PAIRING is boring (like mundane everyday couple blending to the wallpaper, no spice, no drama), Raik-Senna realtionship are more like carer/caree or motherly etc.
I'm like- Are we watching the same show? Its a romance in side of mystery. The ordinaryness of Raik-Sena is the main driving force. They have enough drama in their lives, let them to be ordinary. Don't you see the yearing for last 9 episodes. Also I like the change in Raik and Sena's characters. Raik is now more bold, doesn't care about people's opinion (which he did through his life, and failed to protect Heye Joo), and Sena is showing her vulnerable side (yes she is a queen, may needs no man. But let her be vulnerable at least once). Also about the messege- I think it delivers properly until now that Idols are also ordinary people. Let them live normally (I don't know what people expected). Also the mystery is excellent. Until now it has kept me guessing. I'm not TV kinda girl, but I'm obssed with this show.
PS: I have a question- did they slept together after the kissing (I mean the kiss was hungry AF)? Because the afterglow was insane. Also Raik openly asked Sena for another night (hahaha).
broooo you did NOT follow me around (in a non stalker way) while I pounded beers and roamed the streets belting out the song you wrote. bro i'm your attorney and you're being indicted for ~murder~ brooo we're gonna have to explain that in a COURT OF LAW. yes obviously I missed you too but BrOoOo
