In this case, focusing on the color of the leaves, the fragrance of the tea, the warm temperature, and the complex tastes. By focusing her attention on four different senses in order, she is giving herself a break of the stresses of her life

Zelkov chooses to engage in new activities. While most of these hobbies end up being a fleeting interest, he never stops trying which is a very serious struggle when coping with depression. It doesn't matter if these interests are long-term or short-term. What matters is that he wanted to try and didn't give up on himself until he finished something. Each of these hobbies represent a series of small victories. They don't provide the "purpose" he's looking for, but they prove that he is still capable of moving forward and finding his own meaning in life as long as he keeps trying

I have so much love for this person. The amount of empathy it takes to have these considerations about a person you will never meet, the eloquence and conviction with which they speak, the contempt for landlords.
