#SAVEDIRKGENTLY WEEKEND

What’s up, friends? I hope you all had some lovely holidays and are ready to save the crap out of Dirk Gently. Here’s how we’re going to do it.

As Arvind and the cast have mentioned and hinted at, there’s still a chance that Dirk Gently is picked up by Netflix for a season 3 after BBCAmerica’s cancellation. Although our petition (of over 25,000 signatures!) certainly helped, this will require good viewership numbers when season 2 airs on Netflix worldwide (except the US but don’t be disheartened - read on!) on january 5th 2018. That’s this coming Friday!

This is why we’re turning the entire weekend of january 5-6-7th into #SAVEDIRKGENTLY WEEKEND. Our goals are the following:

1. Lots of views on Netflix. 2. Let’s get trending. 3. Get Netflix involved. 4. Good ratings.

If you like physical copies for only a couple more dollars (like I do), you can also buy the season 1 DVD/Blu-ray, and pre-order the season 2 DVD/Blu-ray. I definitely recommend buying season 2 if at all possible, to express interest in the continuing storyline. Remember to leave positive reviews and ratings on your purchases!! Update on my acting life

Last year I got to be dragon, Humpty Dumpty, and one of the three blind mice in are schools performance of shriek. As dragon I did not have to go on stage to sing witch was super nice. Everyone said my sing was fantastic but I never thought so. I had become sick and one of the nights I heard my voice crack and shake so much that I burst into tears thinking I had ruined the whole thing. But I kept myself composed enough to finish the song. After many people said I sounded wonderful and the director came back to check on me and told me that there was a powerful emotion that time. They where all so supporting sweet and wonderful and I love them. As Humpty Dumpty it was a hoot and a holler of fun. My costume looked slightly like a tampon but I was determined to rock that tampon. It also gave me a solitary place to chill. As on of the three blind mice I gotta to work with one of those canes that I had always been fascinated by. Over all it was many memories maid with my senior friends, more names that I learned, and more comfortable I got with all the people at school. Now I have just finished Christmas carol in witch I was Caroline, fan, and Christmas present. As Caroline I got to become great friends with the Spanish transfer student and we came up with a really cool handshake. As fan I learned the importance of not being monotone and how easily I can play the caring sister type. As Christmas present I learned the importance of reaction staying in character and rock killer platform heals, Overall I made many new friends with freshman, learned how important it is to really get lines down,and how to be proud of something that wasn’t perfect. As well as how much I love cuddle puddles. Next in the list I am playing heather in the play the 11th witch is all about how 9/11 effected people. Hether is the lead with 102 lines. She is an actress and has a husband. She was getting on a play when it happened. First rehearsal is this week before thanksgiving break. Hopefully next are auditions for the spring musical crazy for you at my school and for Peter and the star catcher at EPAC. I really want to be in Peter and the star catcher but there is only one girl part in the show so it’s unlikely. But the lead in the School musical is more graspable and would be very fun. So I will have to audition and see. But please wish me luck as I continue to do something I love.

Relationships?

What about 'em ? They tend to get complicated when brutally honesty and good communication. Honesty may hurt but that hurt is easier to overcome, and it's better to know the truth than to find out that someone very close to you has been lying to you it stings even worse if it's over an extended period of time. In a relationship you have to verbally say how you feel and why you feel that way because most of the time your partner is not a mind reader. Guessing vaguely that a large shift in personality could mean them to be upset is safe but that will need verbal confirmation and maybe an explanation as to why to be able to give proper comfort.

The video without music over it has been found, the attack indeed simply took place because a man supposedly voted Trump. He was beaten and robbed. Funny though that 5-10 thugs couldn’t even knock one old man out. Weak.

Update: Victim speaks out

The 49-year-old victim of the Chicago beating has explained what happened.

He claims the aggressors car sideswiped his, and as he got out with intention to trade insurance information, one of the men said “Yeah, that’s one of them white-boy Trump supporters.” After the video ends, he was dragged by his own car as one of the men stole it, “The guy went to 70 and 80 mph, swerving. He was trying to get me to fall off. If I let go, I was gonna die.” Eventually the car slowed down, and a nearby parole officer intervened.

The victim also claims the attackers would have had no way of knowing who he voted for, suggesting there were no Trump stickers or hats and they just attacked him for being white.

I don't give a didly dam any of the reasons why politically. It's not right to beat up people for what they think. Even if they are wrong even if they are annoying you don't do that. If I punched everyone I disagreed with I would be a very abusive friend. Just because they make you angry doesn't mean you can act like a child and punch them. You can take that energy and use it to find a way to change their mind instead. This is a prime example of the barbaric herd mentality that we have been reduced to.
