I'm curious what you don't like about MCU Wanda? I'm not that big of a fan either, but I'd like to hear your opinions if you feel comfortable sharing.
One part of me is glad you asked and the other wants to stay out of this bc of her stans 😀🤚but listen, first thing is that she’s whitewashed in the worst way possible, and no don’t give me that old excuse that mcu is a different universe, it’s confirmed to be earth 616 in dsmom (unfortunately), they turned her from a romani Jewish woman of color to a white Christian one who willingly joined a n@zi organization. she has always got a free pass and been excused by everyone since age of ultron bc she’s had a traumatic past, almost everyone in the mcu has suffered from trauma in their childhoods or adulthoods but we don’t see them committing mass murder or enslaving a town or trying to torture and murder a literal child. and honestly she’s not even that much of an interesting character to me, she’s still the same person from the age of ultron. No personality beyond being traumatized and a powerful witch. god I love seeing powerful women on screen more than anything but she’s not a “girlboss icon” people, since when is doing whatever you want and not taking responsibilities for your actions a girlboss or queen move, in the mcu fandom everyone’s a feminist only as long as it’s a white character
