a quick explanation of the collections rule: when you add a fic to your collection, you're able to make it anonymous or hide it entirely. Thus, I would prefer not to have people I don't know add my fics to their collections. However, you can add your bookmark to a collection which works just the same if the collection is purely for personal use!
