look at me drawing critrole fanart instead of doing my graduation project dawg i ain't getting my diploma
It is done, I'm done, I got it. Melita's drunk call.
Can't believe missing this damn conversation made go into reddit and steam forums desperately looking for people who knew how to trigger it. But it paid off :')
here's the conversation I recorded (ignore the 10000% on the red check, I like to play with skill check cheats to get all the sexy insights from other skills during dialogue hehe)
some other dialogue options:
if you don't feel like being heartless but still wanna how she replies the jeaolus option (hint: IT HURTS SO MUCH):
Remember when joining fandom as a younger person meant lurking for a bit and figuring out the vibe and etiquette instead of coming in on day one and calling people weirdos for liking weirdo shit in the weirdo factory.
Unsure if I’ve said it yet but I am so thrilled at Sam is taking another stab at playing a character grappling with faith and religion, because FCG and Braius had some solid ideas in that regard but Campaign 3 being what is was, those ideas didn’t really get to blossom like they ought to have. So I’m super happy that he’s getting another opportunity to explore those themes, and my god, is it fascinating to watch unfold.
They want to be alive for this, and so, here and now, they are.
I have been deeply unwell about this episode for the last two weeks, and I don’t see it stopping anytime soon. My heart is so full. I am overjoyed, delighted. I will never be the same 💕
truly I am getting everything I hoped for from Cleo/Dot starting from way back in S1, which is that they would not blithely shed their burdens and drives and sail into the sunset on a cloud of cotton candy, nor fall into an uncomplicated dark pit of pure tragedy, but instead be drastically and irrevocably changed by their journey and have to navigate what this means for themselves and their connection to each other
Ensmartened!Grog and Monstah!Pike were the greatest thing ever 😂

something to be said for the way nott clearly begins to rely on alcohol more and more after reuniting with yeza. it gets to the point that the whole party has noticed and start making comments about getting her to drink less (all of which culminates in jester taking her flask), but it feels very important that this happened right after she had the "what is wrong with me? i just ditched me husband to go adventuring with you!" conversation with caleb. her reliance on booze skyrockets as she's trying to figure out what the fuck she's doing and how she can be yeza's wife and luc's mother and nott the brave of the mighty nein and if she can ever even become herself again
so jealous
(hey! i am taking commissions again as i'm currently unable to work due to (new) back problems. please feel free to message with any questions! i charge on a sliding scale to try and be as accessible as possible, and i am happy to do OCs and adult themes)

C4 E03 The Snipping of Shears // C4 E28 Chasing Shadows: Thaisha Lloy and Shadia Fang
I do keep thinking about "we will have undone the damage of our last attempt," which is heavily implied to have been the necrotic strike into Faerie in a failed attempt to undo the curse of Azgra on Gavzidra. Like, the ritual's goal is liberation, but is it going to crack open the doors to faerie too? Because thinking about it narratively I think there's a lot to do if House Royce is presumably an ended line, but suddenly Aranessa becomes one of the most powerful people in the world again, and the fae are suddenly much more powerful and safe.
