Huh WHY isn't this character whose best friends were betrayed and killed by his other friend, then was then framed for this and imprisoned in the most inhumane prison for 12 years not acting like a rational, calm person?? Extremely confusing 0/10 character.
Be fr, Sirius couldn't save his best friends from the said rat, but he had a chance to save the best friends' son. Of course, he took the chance and went to kill peter pettigrew, and honestly we can't expect him to make a full binder of proper well thought plans, WHILE he was hiding from azkaban. And, the first thing he did, was check on his godson.

Okay everybody, I'm starting atyd from sirius's POV. I wasn't a fan of atyd the first time, but after rereading it, i liked it alot and I am LOVING atyd from sirius's POV. Soo wish me luck!!
The two of them, standing at the edge of the common room by the drinks table, both turn their heads to the dance floor. Her heart clenches as she watches Mary and Sirius, body’s flush against each other, and so sensual in their every movement. God, does she wish that was her with Mary instead, and she knows Remus feels the same about Sirius. But neither of them would ever risk their friendships, or chance causing a rift between the couple. The beautiful, confident, loud couple. It kills her to admit it, but they seem perfect for each other.
“You could always talk to her about how you feel.”
“You could always talk to him about how you feel,” Lily retorts.
Remus lets out a long breath. “This isn’t going to change any time soon, is it? They may break up, but we’ll still feel this way no matter who they are with.”
“This really sucks,” she pouts, feeling like a petulant child who was denied dessert. But rather than have a tantrum like one, she downs the rest of her drink and refills her cup with more whisky than coke. If she has to be miserable in her unrequited love, Lily might as well try to enjoy the night as best she can. And what better way to do than to temporarily forget the existence of her friend. Well, she doesn’t think she could ever forget Mary. But if she turns the other way, she might just be able to keep her heartbreak at bay, for a little while at least.

Looking over her shoulder, Sirius grins. “They’re both staring at us. More like glaring actually. Do you think they’re mad at us?”
“Perhaps they’re jealous.”
“Oh, I hope it’s that one. I love you, Maz, but I’d much snog Moony.”
“Don’t worry, the feeling’s mutual.”
Sirius gasps dramatically. “You want to snog Moony too?”
Mary swats his chest as she laughs. “He’s not exactly my type.”
“Really? Hot, nerdy, righteous. That’s not your type? Because that sounds an awful like a certain redhead you’re obsessed with.”
“I’m not obsessed with her.” Her dance partner raises an eyebrow, and she rolls her eyes. “Fine. I am, just a bit. But I think, or I hope, that is mutual.”
“You don’t see the way she looks at you when you’re not looking,” he says. “Trust me, it’s mutual.”
“Your feelings for Remus are mutual too, just so you know.”
“I bloody well hope so, otherwise all this,” he gestures between them, “was for nothing.”
i love jegulus but when will yall stop hating lily or calling her boring/unlikable????? regulus has literally no personality whatsoever canonically and WE (you AND me) love him, so why hate lily when she is canonically bright, lovely, and extremely powerful ???? unless its bc shes a woman and with james… and SOME people want to write her off as “james’ ex” or “harrys mom” or “james’ old crush” or “james’ wife” when she is SO much more than that and she did not sacrifice herself and save the wizarding world with the strength of her love for fanfictions to blame her for “being in the way” of jegulus. it’s tired. AND stop taking her son away from her 🙁 coparenting EXISTS !!!!!!
