I've been looking at some posts from people who claim that asexuality is not a spectrum, or that there is a spectrum and asexuality is the "absolute zero" right at the far end of it, and I'd like to propose a phrase to counter that argument:

same thing with me and being aro. have never experienced romantic attraction, don't enjoy it in most any sense, and of our headmates i'm at least the most romance repulsed. i am of the opinion that if the label aromantic helps you, then it's not for me to judge at all. if someone's identifying as aro truly feels weird, it's just an opportunity to grow more aware of my community and the diversity within it.
