Like it really just doesn't get any clearer than this. Racialized transfems are only seen as a thing to be used by everyone else. I make a vent post about racialized transfems being treated like an object to benefit everyone that isn't one. i don't really like it when western mythological terms are applied haphazardly to essentially unrelated ideas. this is a completely lost battle but a lóng is really not a dragon, it is its own thing with only surface level similarities

What people on Tumblr need to realize is that having a shitty opinion is not equal to being a danger to society. You do not need to run a blog dedicated to a transfem user, documenting every wrong thing she's ever done, and sending her death threats on anon. What the hell happened to block but don't harass?

I'm pro prison abolition and anti death penalty. When someone commits a crime, it does more good to rehabilitate them so they either learn not to or don't need to commit that crime anymore. This includes the most serious crimes. Why would I feel any different when the crime is saying something shitty on the internet?

The most common argument I saw against my trans women period post was a simple "no they dont." Not even an argument, just a refusal to acknowledge the facts. I see this often when the topic of trans women experiencing PMS and cramps is brought out. Just outright denial without argument instead of trying to understand where we're coming from.

I saw this one time in one those conservative debate slop videos. The debater said that only cis women can experience periods and asked the trans woman he was debating if she experienced any. And as she was about to explain how she does, the whole crowd laughed instead of listening to her story.

This is why I always say that the most important thing about being an ally, whether it be to trans ppl or other minority groups, is listening. Allow yourself to have your worldview changed. Because most allies don't even understand why people are trans. Or even know about problems among trans ppl like sexual assault, incontinence, healthcare discrimination, etc.

So yes, some transfems can experience PMS symptoms and monthly abdominal pains. They can't menstruate but this does not make their experiences any less valid. This is not a well researched topic because of lack of funding or acknowledgement of problems like these by the scientific community. But there are plenty of testimonials from transfems about this. Listen to trans people.
