SHADOW WORK BATH
Run a bath and light candles 🕯
Place clear quartz crystal around you to amplify and Clarify emotions.
Add these purifying ingredients
• 1/2 cup of epsom salt
•1/2 cup of baking soda
• 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar
(Or cancel the vinegar and add Jojoba oil)
Get in the bath and allow your emotions to surface, accepting them as they come.
Identify your emotions, and breathe deeply.
Cleanse the bathroom after your bath.
*you will notice a lot of emotions disappear after doing this.*
Shadow work
Shadow work is the shadow part of yourself. The part that gets triggered, the part that nobody likes to talk about. The part of yourself where your trauma resonates deep, deep inside. The part that goes back to being an innocent child trying to understand life.
Connecting with your shadow self, and bringing to light feelings you’ve suppressed within will allow you to heal, and work through emotions/events that you may have forgotten about, but your subconscious has not. Here are 10 questions to journal about to help bring to light some emotions if you’re wanting to heal from within 🍃
•What are some things that triggers you, and where do you feel they came from?
•Who has the most influence over you? Would you say that it is healthy?
•Who has let you down the most in your life? Are they still around? How do you feel about it?
•What is your worst childhood memory? How were you comforted?
•what is the worst character trait you have as a result of your childhood? What or who caused it? How do you feel about it?
•what makes you self conscious around others?
•How do you feel asking for help? Is it a sign of strength or weakness?
•What could have made your childhood better?
•What makes you feel most valued?
• What would you most like to be recognized for?
Mental Health
It’s important to surround yourself with things that make you feel safe, and comfortable. I love pillows and soft blankets ✨
JOURNALING is going to be your best friend. Write every morning what you’re grateful for, and every evening what you want to release. I have a prayer journal for night time, and a gratitude journal for my morning. ✨
Tapping on the chest is a great method to release that anxious energy building up in your chest, or stomach. Lightly tap your chest or stomach with your knuckles, and breathe in, and out to release ✨
AFFIRMATION, AFFIRMATIONS, AFFIRMATIONS. ✨
You’re gonna have bad days, but don’t let those bad days consume you. You have the tools you need within yourself to change the way your brain is wired. I am diagnosed Borderline Personality Disorder, and with correcting those negative, intrusive thoughts, you can change the way you view your situations when they get rough.
I hope this helps someone! Remember you are NEVER alone 💕
Borderline personality disorder awareness
love is insane you feel like you're always subtly asking "do you still love me even though i'm flawed" and the answer just keeps being yes
Your friends either go through this inner transformation with you or drift out of your life. Some relationships dissolve, others deepen.
