So i've been going kinda insane for a good bit over a theory i'm calling original trio theory. Especially since Sprout's TOTW. Below this cut i'll go further into it.
So, I've been playing DW recently, and i've been seeing a reoccurring pattern of characters next to each other.
Specifically Dandy, Astro, and Vee. Theres defiantly more of these around gardenview but i only gathered these four

Its in no particular order either. Since im brainrotted over this game, I started to think about the idea/possibility these three were a friend group or trio of some sort before the shutdown
Astro is friends with both vee and dandy
However, Dandy & Vee aren't friends with each other, in fact they hate each other it seems.
So I got thinking, Why specifically these three? I get it, the poster lineup could really mean nothing other than referening the fact that they're both friends with astro, however, sprout's TOTW video alongside Brusha's in game interactions and lore have gotten a different idea in my head.
In this video, we get the breakdown that the show is part of them, and when things are thrown off script it doesnt feel right. Such as Cosmo's absence to Sprout Or....
Brusha & Tisha's situation
Their ordeal is complicated, and I wont be unpacking that today sadly, but i would like to note its significance. Clearly whether it be a pre-shutdown or post-shutdown or even caused by the shutdown event, tisha and brusha are no longer friends when they were once, or rather intended to be friends. Because they are no longer friends, i believe/theorize this got brusha to take the show less seriously, in tern the other toons as well. Its best potrayed in her interaction with sprout
"You only care because the show said you had to."
That in itself is an intense sentence, but sums up how she views the show post shutdown. Now, what does this have to do with Dandy, Vee, & Astro?
Well, because Astro is friends with both Dandy & Vee, and those two hate each other, I have a theory originally the three of them were an in show trio, but an event (Whether that be V2 reveal or shutdown) broke dandy and vee apart, leaving just astro friends with them seperatly.
I don't even think Dandy & Vee had that much beef in the show either. Maybe some friendly competition. Heres why
Dandy does show up in the winning big poster, but isn't the focus of Vee's frustration, Scraps is.
as shown in this footage, which i theorize to be at least part of winning big
Likewise, in this footsgae, not only is astro implied to be present, Vee doesn't seem to really hate dandy in this video. Its more of a playful "oooh thats wrong!" than frustration.
So why do i bring all this up? Well, i theorize like brusha & tisha and sprout & cosmo, something feels off without them as friends
This interaction implies Vee actively seeks out dandy to try and talk to him. Or deliberately argue with him because they likely want to interact with each other because of their lost show friendship
Dyle's dialogue implies Dandy talks a lot about her in "riveting stories" he says "All the riveting stories" implying there have been many and its starting to get on dyle's nerves
Not to mention just the sheer spite these two have against each other. Theres always a little detail like they cant get the other off their mind
Their shops (theres more in the christmas shop & gift shop but im too lazy for that)
Their easter costumes directly compliment each other.
etc etc.
So thats the theory. Dandy, Vee, & Astro were once a friend group pre-shutdown and on the show that broke apart after the facility shutdown. That leaves one question, why did they break apart?
Despite the idea of them being a trio, its very close that astro and dandy are closer
And vee is still kinda taking in the V2 news
So i imagine that left vee in kind of a spot that made it difficult to trust dandy after the shutdown and ichor operation since it technically was his fault
or so his research implies.
that is why it was easier for dandy and vee to break apart rather than dandy and astro
What does this mean for the future lore? Idk, hopefully more context to dandy & vee's rivalry (please qwel im begging you)

This is why I ask y'all what headcanons you have for him, because I needed a reference and ideas.
His abilities are ambiguous, however but the primary one is that his an indepth connection to all space. And I mean all space, it's basically omnipresence with limits because the user doesn't know fully how to do it. His very good at finding people and sensing danger so he has that and others as I go along.
Appreciated. As I was struggling to convey Vees reaction, but I definitely wanted her face to glitch.
Shrimpo proceeds to regret his words less than 10 seconds later.
And he had no idea if the "Vee 2" project was even a thing here. He just took an emotional gamble.
For more context, Vee is the first to "confront" Shrimpo in regards to him hanging out with Shelly more than normal, assuming he's someone forcing her to be around him. This spirals into Shrimpo point out how Vee never really talks to Shelly beyond when SHE needs her for something. Sparked by a specific choice of words:
"Now whenever I try to talk to her, shes says she's busy and-"
"Doesn't feel good when it happens to you, does it?"
Specifically when Vee says she tried to "talk" with Shelly.

i feel that in this case vee wouldthen feel confused after see shrimpo actually regreting what he said (after calm down a bit)
like she would never expect that....that would make her start making question to herself and realize that shrimpo its not the same she used to know ....
and the she thinks in shrimpo words witch more detail she analize herself and her actions she takes the time for actually think deppely in that
conclusion: shrimpo has reason she havent been the best friend for shelly...
shes dosent want to be mean towards her she dont act witch the purpose of being mean or bully her ,she ask to her for help bc shelly its strong and she is always there for help and she trust in her enought fr ask her help
but at the same time she dosent really tries to take the time for talk depply witch her maybe bc she dosent know how to aproach or her mind its busy thinking in dandy or astro
but that not an excuse she neglected her and just give like a fact that shes gonna help always and be there always not asking herself how she was doing
she does care for shelly ad others toon she just dont show it the best way ,most of the times she just suck at communicating and talking depply witch others toon even witch astro or brightney or glisten
so have this convo witch shrimpo would be like a hit of reality
she realize than even if she didnt wanted shes hurting shelly and being a bad friend evenn if she really didnt ant to be awfull towards her
realize of that hurt a lil bit but also its good ...she now feel bad for her actions even if werent on purpose but the worst way of hurt someone its not realizing ur hurting or being mean /crys
so she would be like: i need try to be a better friend...i really was ashole toward her isnt it? your being a better friend for her than me or sprout...its funny
i think that she also would question how shrimpo chaged that much but ehh :)
and yes i think this would chnge vee for of thinking and she would try t be more open or more nice witch the toon she strugle witch it but she want to be better she dosent wanna still being seen as ashole lol
People who act like Qwel killed their family whenever there's something new released about Sprout and Cosmo being close are 500% more annoying than any so-called "Fruitcake fanservice" ever was.
Like, what do you mean you're genuinely angry that two characters who are attached at the hip like to wear matching outfits? Or just have their TOTWs released close together? It's so exhausting to like these two and their relationship, because there's always a little bitch in your ear.
I also don't like people who claim they like the two, and then go off about how they love their "toxic codependency yaoi." Does nobody in this community know what it's like to have a friend??
NO THEY DONT KNOW IT GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH i love sprout and cosmo so much and hurt me a lot how ppl say that any type of content of them its fruitcake or that hteir ship its toxic
or idk its so frustrating
for me its hard be a cosmo and sprout fan and see ppl trowing shit to them every time its so insuferable

this is not to say you shouldn't make characters with strabismus- you should! i want to see people with my disabilities! but i think a little research can go a long way. i'd love to see it given more depth in writing than just being an indicator of intelligence (which it isn't and never has been!)
