On a college trip thing in Cali for a week and im genuinely bouta crash out. We got one hour to go look around some big ass Pier and didnt tell us thats all the time we had. Didn't get food so im cranky now. Wanna go home so bad. This place sucks. I get 0 freedom in this damn trip and its honestly making me so pissed off. On top of that, my roomate ot also my partner for the trip and I have to sit with her on the bus we have. Thats fine, but she keeps smacking her mouth and lips so much while chewing her damn gum and I honestly have had some violent thoughts towards her. That sounds stupid but i might actually cry.

Im gonna complain a bit here. I keep looking for fics with waterboy and skips, but al I find is either really short works, works that are pure smut, or one's that build up and then immediately just go to full smut. Idk if that makes any sense.

In a irl relationship, people dont usually have their first kiss and then a few hours or a day later immediately go at it. Well, not a lot of the time. I guess what im saying is i wish I could find some slower fics out there.

I used to be in a specific Fandom, each fic I found was usually 20+ chapters/parts and had good slowburn, with eventual smut. I guess maybe I got too used to that luxury cause its hard out here for me.

Also, I dont wanna hear anyone say "write your own!" Because I know it takes a lot of time and planning, which is another reason why I get annoyed with some of these fics I find. I can see how much effort someone put into a fic, and then it all just drops and becomes a smut after smut deal. I donr need constant smut in a work.

but selkie!waterboy who accidentally gets separated from his colony when he gets attacked by a killer whale

he survives, but he’s injured and ends up on a cali beach, where you (a marine life rehabilitation specialist) find him and take him for treatment at a local marine rehab center

herm is of course grateful that he was rescued and that you helped him recover, but the rehab center wants to ship him off to a nearby aquarium since it would be dangerous to introduce a spotted seal back into the central pacific ocean when they’re from the northern pacific ocean (or something along the lines of ‘he has to go there cuz XYZ’

so one night, he shifts back into human form and tries to escape, only to be caught by you when you happen to return to the rehab center to grab something you left behind

now you have to deal with a naked, teary-eyed man who happens to be a mythical creature and is desperate to get back to his colony so he can reunite with his grandma

thus you rent a boat and set sail to find herm’s colony, as your journey at sea brings you and herm closer together in more ways than one

So I'm pre-diabetic and I thought it'd be nice to write something abt me and my lovely husband Waterboy. My persona for the game is (obviously) me and I want to capitalize on that for... ever?

Idk. Anyways. I thought it'd be cute if on a mission, Maybe I hadn't eaten oe something and no one really knows about me being pre-diabetic. Im gonna hc Waterboys grandma as being a diabetic just for this and he picks up on the signs that I'm running a little down. When we both get on break, he gets me a snack. Cute I know. Tehe.

Also, in this we're not dating yet. Im new to the team and he just happened to pick up on it.

Reading this back, I've realized how goofy it is to write this way. Lol. Its okay im having fun.

Waterboy takes you in and you stay the night in jail. The next morning, you get a visit from a member at SDN. They give you a choice. A few year in jail, or join the Phoenix program at SDN.

This is it. You finally got caught. You're currently sitting at a table in the jail. It was a simple process. He pretty much dropped you off and left. The cops did the rest. Gave you some orange pants and shirt, socks, undies, and a cell. You were sharing it with a lady who goes by the name Seline. Shes sleek like a cat. You couldn't even begin to guess how she got caught.

You were just sitting. Watching the clock tick by. They hadn't given you much info on anything yet. They said you'd be in there a few hours and then they'd discuss. Kinda odd. They knew about your powers, how they worked, and how you used them. You would'nt be surprises if they knew more than you. You're no scientist or power specialist.

You sigh, looking around. Watching the clock makes time go slower. You think about all the stuff you did. What you could've done to not get caught. Maybe if you just didn't do any of it in the first place. It felt like time out for adults. I mean, it pretty much is. Its kinda the same idea of sending a kid to their room to think about what they did. But instead of a kid, its a full grown adult with a job and responsibilities.

You wait around for about an hour before someone calls you to the door. They tell you that you have a visitor. Odd. You don't know anyone or have friends. Why would anyone visit? You stay quiet. Only nodding and shaking your head. Its kinda quiet in the halls. It feels like you're interrupting by even breathing. It makes you a little anxious about who this visitor could be.

You finally reach an interrogation room, which lets you know that this isnt any normal visitor. When you walk in, the fiest thing you notice is a blonde haired lady with a blue and white supersuit on. Oh you definitely knew her. Its Blonde Blazer! She's much more skilled and famous compared to most other superheros.

You're eyes widen a bit at the site. This has to be some prank. A joke. Why would a famous hero come to see you? Some scrappy villain who got caught by no other than Waterboy? You sit. They cuff you uo to the table and Blonde Blazer smiles at you.

"Hello, its really nice to meet you. I'm a superhero at SDN and I've seen some of your...uh...work." She gives a little sheepishly smile. She sounds...fake? I guess. Like a superhero would sound. Much more commercial compared to Waterboy.

"Uhm...work? Wait- so you know what I did?" You cock your head a little to the side. Its obvious she knows what you did. She found you in jail. Shes clearly here becuase of that.

"Well of course!" She leans forwards. "I take care of a lot of things down at SDN. I've seen your profile and things like that. I know a lot about you!" She pauses, probably realizing how creepy that sounded.

"Right," you swallow, "it's a good thing I also know some things about you. Given you're well-known...famous." You shrug.

"Heh, well then we both know about one another. Great!" She slapped on that corporate grin again before continuing. "At SDN, we havw many different kinds of heros. Many programs for different kinda of people. I'm hoping you'd be interested in one of our programs at SDN called the 'Phoenix Program'."

"Is it like...villain rehab or something?" You raise a brow.

She gives a nervous laugh, "sure. Villain rehab. It's kinda like that." She clears her throat. "Anyways. If or when you join the program, you will be put through hero training and missions at SDN. We'll put you on our Phoenix Program team, and get you started right away."

"So, you think I can be a hero?" You feel a little hopefull. THE Blonde Blazer is asking you to join SDN. You're sure she has to do multiple visits with other villains like yourself daily, but still.

"Yes." That's all she says for a good 45 seconds. She gives you a surprisingly convincing look before speaking again. "You're powers are quiet strong and handy, I think we can use someone like you on the team. Maybe you can make friends with another shifter type hero on the team. Connect, bond a bit?"

"How long do I have to take the offer?"

"As long as you need."

She stands up. Leaving you with a choice to make. Someone comes in to unlock your cuffs and take you back but before Blonde Blazer or you leaves you room, you blurt out one more very important question.

"Wait- how much do I get paid?" You both just look at each other for a few moments. She looks slightly confused since you both just had a little bit of a moment, but she replies.

"Depends on how well you work."

That makes sense. You nod and they take you back to your cell. Its a bit late so no one's in the big middle common area. Seline is on her bunk, reading a small book on something you don't care much about. You sigh and lay down.

"Don't say yes." Seline says firmly

"What?"

"Don't try being a hero. You should stick to your roots. No need to fix what's not broken."

"But it is broken. I got caught- wait... How did you know?"

"They ask just about every villain with a power that comes in here. You're no different."

You stay silent. You can see where she's coming from. But its either jail time. Or freedom with a new job. Which one sounds better to you? Well...obviously the job. Its not uo for debate at this point. Seline just made tou sure of it. You're gonna be a hero.
