"there is no reason why homophobia should be a thing in your fictional universe" actually a) I grew up in a homophobic family in a homophobic country and can only explore my struggles and my identity through my writing b) I'm not about to be schooled by Tumblr activists as to what constitutes "good queer rep", most of you all don't seem to realise there are cultures outside those of Europe and USA and "good" is not a universal parameter.

Honestly, there is no "good" rep. There are stories you vibe with and stories you don't. "I want to see a character go through the same struggles as I do" and "I want to see a character happy, without my struggles" both can and should coexist. Neither is better, they are just different.

a life update

hey everyone! sorry i’ve been pretty inactive, and that’s because i just moved into college! it’s been a very stressful few weeks, and that’s left me with little time to do anything but crash during my free time. but i’m settled in now, and while i think i’ll be anxious and a little spacey for the next few days i think i’ll be back in bussiness soon! so here’s what i plan on writing over the fall!

DANGANRONPA (what we’re all here for)

-finish “oh your love is sunlight!” only six or seven onehsots to go! expect irumastu, amaota, twobuki and more! -write out some of my character essays (including my mondo and byukuya analysis! that i’ve talked about for ages! whoooo)

- various fun one shots. 

HAIKYUU!!! (or, how my interest in volleyball possessed me and my friend took advantage of that and here’s my new comfort show)

- a “wow our local high school volleyball team is going to nationals maybe we should interview them!” fic that can be summarized as chaos at the news station

-asanoya travel fic because they’ve possessed me too oh god who wants to be the asahi to my noya?
