Reading through that article kind of proved most of the points wrong.
First, not an interview, but rather an anonymous blogpost on the japanese equivalent of glassdoor. No way to confirm any of it being real. Also only be one person, employees is intentionally misleading.
Secondly, fake glassdoor articles are posted all the time whenever a company gets put under pressure. It’s happened to every company ever.
Third, the salary information this lists are super ridiculous and clearly made up by someone who has no idea how most jobs work.
Fourth, no evidence of channels being taken down. I can also find no evidence of it.
Fifth, people liking something you didn’t, doesn’t make them mindless. Just means you have different preferences.
The ‘#thankyougamefreak’ hashtag was started because people were sending pokemon employees death threats.
