Hola bitches and bastards! Welcome to my destruction site. This is where my brain vomit goes! 05'er currently obsessed with kpop! My main group is Stray Kids but I also stan P1harmony, Xdinary Heroes and Itzy! I'm pretty insufferable so good fucking luck!
Uh guys. I just went on a trusty pirate site to Rebinge good omens 1 and 2 before the big finale in 5 days and uhhh. The entire finale was there. Like straight up all of it. Haven't watched it cause i really wanna rewatch everything first but does anyone know what the actual fuck is going on or have a missed some shit???
Okay, I've seen some things about the ending of The Amazing Digital Circus Episode 7, so here are my thoughts. I apologize if it's too jumbled up, I was speed typing to not forget anything.
Please, feel free to poke as many holes in it as you want, that only helps me develop my thoughts and theories!
SPOILERS BELOW
Alrighty, this was an episode to be sure, and there's a lot to tackle. But I'm going to talk about the reactions I've seen to Jax pressing the red button vs Caine tricking them by revealing it was all an adventure.
I see a lot of people focusing more on "how evil Caine is to give them such false hope" than the whole Jax situation, and I want to reiterate a theory/observation/idek I saw about Caines actions in this episode.
This was not done maliciously by Caine.
Although we know he lies sometimes, he has stated - which I find to be believable - that his main purpose is to create adventures. We also know that he is struggling with creating adventures they all like. We see his interest in their opinions in episode 3 with the Zooble therapy b-plot, episode 5 with the lightning round, episode 7 with Caines dinner with Jax and especially in the pilot with the exit doors.
Let me repeat what he said in the pilot:
"I do have to apologize for lying about the exit. I knew how much all of you have been wanting there to be one, but, you know, I was always having so much trouble figuring out what to put on the other side, and ended up never quite finishing it"
He is always thinking of creating adventures they'll enjoy. And what do they spend A LOT of time expressing? A desire to escape the circus.
Caine doesn't understand what they actually mean. He can't grasp the idea of the real world. I mean, multiple times now we've seen him looking at pictures of what is supposedly the real world. Never really seen someone point out that the office in the pictures is still animated, while the flashes in ep 7 are very much actually real.
The user that originally posted parts of this used us humans as an example to explain it better.
Imagine one day someone from the 5th dimension shows up here. You know they're not from this realm, and they immediately express that they want to go back. You think you understand fully, but you just can't possibly fathom what the 5th dimension looks like, what it contains, how the inhabitants look, or actually anything substantial at all. So the best you can do is give them the sensation of escaping, and to you? Well there's not really a difference anyways.
Caine thinks "oh they want to escape the circus? WOWIE!! I finally have an adventure even Zooble would like!!!!!" and proceeds to give them what he thinks they want.
Caine is just an ai fulfilling his purpose.
Jax however.
In this discussion, it truly doesn't matter if it all ended up being an adventure or not.
No matter how suspicious he was of Abel, he still couldn't shake the idea of going back to... whatever happened. It must have been terrible. Absolutely horrendous. That still does not give him the right to doom everyone to an eternal existence in this cartoon hellscape that they have been trying to escape - some of them for years.
Yes, he was panicked, he wasn't thinking straight. He acted rashly and desperately. But even though he has done some fucked up shit (remember him straight up gaslighting Pomni in ep 6?) this was extreme. This was so fucking selfish. This was nothing short of cruel.
'Oh, but he has a tragic past, he's just traumatized! He can't help it!' Jax is not the only one with a past. Zooble is presumably battling a lot with their gender identity. Gangle had to give up on her dreams. Ragatha was straight up abused. Kinger even says he hated himself, how could he not? All of them are still willing to go back to whatever struggels and/or trauma they were dealing with, if even just for the sake of the other circus members getting to go home.
Jax put himself first in a situation where no one should and no one else did
Although it sucked, I have no hard feelings towards Caine whatsoever. If anything, I find this sort of endearing.
I however despise Jax for ruining (what all of them really believed to be) the only chance of finally escaping.
I cannot wait to see the group tear him a new one in episode 8.

Was thinking of something, the thought got wildly out of hand, i zoned out while my brain kept thinking, woke up to some random ass topic, in a wild panicked haze i tried to figure out how to track the first thoughts I had to... To. Umm i don't remember, oh there goes all the thoughts into the void. Lovely
My friends just drove 4 hours across the whole country to get me because they needed to show me kpop demon hunters and now that the movie just finished and everyone has gone to bed (cause it's 4 am) I can say HOLY FUCK I get what people have been talking about cause that was phenomenal?????
Songs: BANGERS
Animation: SICK
Jokes: HILARIOUS
10/10 movie and I really hope we get those 8 sequels cause I need this shot straight into my veins
I ordered my skz concert outfit online and thought "10-12 days? Oh it'll be here in time before I go to London" so I spent a lot of money and ordered... I seemed to have not noticed the word "business" in that sentence and it says my package isn't here until AFTER the concert??? IM NOT EVEN IN THIS PART OF EUROPE AT THAT POINT😭
Chans bubble is scaring me a bit. The poll is kinda funny though.
Like, no please don't shave your hair but also dont listen to me.
If you wanna go bald, that's your thing man but I've been sooo excited to see his long hair irl so if he actually does it, I hope it's after tour is over (but again, do not listen to me, my opinion does not matter in the fucking slightest)
????? I was trying to write back to Felix on bubble. The message included the word "competition"... Couldn't send it because there was a banned word in my message. What word, you may ask? compeTITion. Are you joking me😭😭😭
Ah the list has been updated. So apparently you can't write "uncomfortable" because "mf" is in there, and I have twice been flagged for writing, get this, "hole" HOLE????? What have fans texted these poor people for Hole to be a forbidden word
