Put an egg in your ramen. Put scallions in your ramen. Put chili oil in your ramen. Put kewpie Mayo in your ramen. But nori in your ramen. Put tofu in your ramen. Put miso paste in your ramen. Put mushrooms in your ramen.
Do NOT reply or comment except to add good things to put in ramen. Thatâs what this post is for.
put fish sauce in it!! chopped garlic!! sriracha! vegetable tempura! pork belly! sprouts!
// I love cooking comics best. And this one has ingredients so cheap I made a point to save it to my harddrive. It was originally drawn by Lucie Bryon here on Tumblr.
If you're extremely low spoons like me, you can used canned or frozen veggies, and some supermarkets sell pre-cooked chicken
Throw it all in the pot and fry it with butter to make it taste better, then throw in your water and noodles until it looks good
If you don't have the energy but have a spice rack, powdered garlic, onion, ginger. Measure with your heart. Add one egg yoke. Dash of regular soy sauce. Siracha, again measure with your heart. Don't have that? Chili flakes or anything with a mild spice. Mix. Set aside. Heat water. Bring to a boil. Add ramen packet + ramen noodles. Cook till soft. Add one ladle of your broth to your yoke + spice mix. Mix that. Add noodles + additional broth. Add extra dash of soy sauce. Eat and be content.
Speaking as someone who is frequently busy AND low-energy, let me tell you some of my ramen hacks!
Prepackaged broth.
Canned chicken or any leftover meat you may have. Add it in the last few minutes of cooking.
I endorse the frozen veggies! Also add those in the last few minutes of cooking.
Add some miso paste and a pat of butter. mmmm, richer broth.
Finally, because I have a lot of days where I have no energy AND barely time for lunch: THE MICROWAVE. Put your broth and noodles in a bowl, microwave it for 2 minutes. Pull apart the noodles (which will still be firm but not a brick) to make a little nest to crack an egg into. Add any other protein and your frozen veggies, then microwave it for another 2 minutes. THE BOWL WILL BE VERY HOT WHEN YOU TAKE IT OUT OF THE MICROWAVE, BE CAREFUL. But look at that! Fast, delicious, nutritious ramen!

Well hello hello itâs been a while đ Iâve been pretty busy but hereâs a thing Iâve been working on
my writing fundamentally changed forever ten years ago when i realized you could use sentence structure to control peopleâs heart rates. is this still forbidden knowledge or does everyone know it now
?????? *raises hand* Iâve been writing for years and donât know this trick by these words! do tell?
Okay, so a few people have asked for me to cite the dark magics at them, and iâm super happy to share because itâs my favorite thing ever.Â
so, letâs see if i can explain this the same way that i learned. read a sentence out loud. you come to a full stop when you hit the period, and you take a normal, breath. but, when you hit a comma, you take a slightly longer pause. and when you hit a dash - you take an even longer pause.Â
this is a natural rhythm that we pick up when weâre first taught to read; we do it without even thinking. but when you start to think about it, you realize that it can become a tool.
think of your heartbeat. a period is badump. a comma is badump-dump. and a dash is thump badump. one breath. a longer breath. two breaths.
that means what you read automatically affects the rhythm of your breathing and your heartrate. which means that you can control the amount of physical tension your reader feels⊠by altering your punction and your sentence structure.
for fast paced scenes, you use short sentences. a lot of hard stops. mostly periods, with just a few commaâs thrown in for the full breath. your readerâs heartrate accelerates. their breathing is slightly and unintentionally, on their end, quicker. you hit the dramatic ending of the scene - and your readerâs body phsyically feels the gasp, the breath of fresh air, of these longer sentences.
now, read that paragraph again ant take note of your natural pauses, and how it subtly affects your breathing.Â
the same thing can be said of commaâs and dashes. while they can be used as a breath of fresh air, they can also cause a new line of tension as they lead your reader to hold their breath. during this section, you should use longer sentences; breaking up the harshness of the pauses by using variations of punction. read this paragraph out loud from the start and take note of how long you go between pauses and full breaths.Â
and then, comes the biggest trick.
the hard stop.
the paragraph.
because while the periods, commas, and dashes are variations on a short stop, the paragraph is a hard stop. you take a full breath. you pause for a moment, then move to the start of the next paragraph.
which means you can create an entirely new sort of dramatic tension. read the sentences that are in bold. see how you take a naturally longer pause at the end of each paragraph?
see how it makes you feel?Â
how it makes you breath different?Â
how doing it once, twice, or three times creates a different line of tension?Â
this little magic trick can be used to cause a readerâs heartrate to speed up during a fight or chase scene. it can be used to cause their breathing to slow down during moments of dramatic tension, sorrow, or softness. and it can be used to create hard breaks that add a new level of physically felt emphasis to your written work.
i hope these examples make sense! itâs my favorite writing trick!
love live keeps getting caught taking scenes from glee and itâs making me laugh so much
>super generic panelling
>super generic âCHARACTER LOOKS AT CAMERAâ shots

tumblr friendships are hard to maintain like im sorry i know i havent talked to you in 5 months but youâre still super rad and i still consider us friends im just dumb
#if youâre wondering if this is for you #itâs probably for you
If I have ever messaged you or messaged me and never heard from me again, I still consider us friends. I just suck
Iâm like a moth drawn to a flame
Tumblr is 200% better then Twitter
It stacks
more!!!
Twitter canât get a dollar out of me but Tumblrâs winning just by being funny
It maxes out at 24 [12x], this is dumb and I love it
Played Animal Crossing for the first time in months, this was my only thought
Ngl, I forgot tumblr existed as a platform so hello again. I've returned. đ

Some studies I did for my second artbook, The Sketchbook of Loish! For one of the chapters, I developed an idea for a story and explored it through sketches and concept art.
If youâre interested in this book, itâs available directly through my publisher, where you can get a copy with a signed bookplate! Find it here: https://shop.3dtotal.com/the-sketchbook-of-loish

Here are some other paintings Iâve done, if anyoneâs interested đ ( three of these are based off photos)
