"I didn’t realize I have to have a problem to be sitting out here…"
"You're all alone and look like you're lost in your thoughts. Seems like something is wrong to me."
Oh no. No no no no no—damn! These are new too.
Let me help you.
What's your problem?
Give 'em Hex | Naomi, Tess, & Stella
Naomi grabbed the blanket Tess offered and pulled it up close to her neck. She didn’t know how she could be both sweating and freezing but somehow she was. She tried to relax and slow her breathing as Tess left to make some tea, hoping she could just get some sleep and see if things improved. She’d never felt sick like this before; she hoped it wasn’t anything too serious. She had so much to do between classes and work and she didn’t want to just ditch Jett when they had plans. That reminded her - she looked over towards the cell phone she’d set on the coffee table and mentally asked it to come towards her. When it didn’t budge she furrowed her brow a little and concentrated harder, willing it to move. She reached for it with her hand and tried again, only to have it stay just out of reach. She gave up and fell back onto the couch again. When Tess came back she slowly sipped from the warm mug, feeling its effects already. She shrugged, “Not that I can think of…I mean a lot of customers come through the restaurant. Any of them could have been sick I guess.” She let out a small huff. “Whatever it is I can’t even get my powers to work, so I hope it goes away soon.” She took another sip of the tea and set the mug down, laying her head down on the couch pillow. She felt unbelievably exhausted, and just wanted to lay there until this went away.
At Naomi’s admission of her powers being faulty, Tess sat back on her heels so fast she almost spilled tea. If that hadn’t been a giveaway of a hex, she didn’t know what was. She shifted out of the way of the coffee table and moved it closer to Naomi without lifting a finger, setting the mug down on it and patting Naomi’s shoulder lightly. “Now you won’t need them,” she smiled softly, kissing the top of the blonde’s head before rising. “I need to go to the shop,” she lied quickly, heading for the door and putting on a pair of heeled boots, holding onto the coat rack as she did. “I’ll be back soon, I promise. If you need anything while I’m gone, Dom is still home, and he’ll hear you if you yell. And you know I’m always a phone call away,” Tess promised, shrugging into her leather jacket - fake leather, god knows she couldn’t afford the real thing with a coven to take care of - and grabbing her keys on her way out. A minivan was hardly intimidating, but it’d have to do.
Tess had never been to Ford Entertainment, but she knew the building as soon as she saw it. At least four stories larger than her own humble shop, it would have been awe inspiring if she wasn’t running on fury and adrenaline. The door slammed open before Tess even reached it, and she stomped in, feet shoulder width apart and her hands on her hips. It was a battle stance, and Tess Danvers was ready to go toe to toe with her Supreme. “Stella! I know you can hear me. Get out here right now, and answer for what you did to my coven member,” she shouted, her spine ramrod straight.
Stella had been lounging by herself, enjoying her day. She felt like she did everything that needed to be done, work was going great, and her coven was just how she liked it despite little Naomi's betrayal. Of course, Tess Danvers had to ruin it. She heard the witch enter Ford Entertainment and straight towards her. God, she didn't need to be so dramatic. Stella gets up from where she was lounging, fluffs her hair a bit, and looks at Tess with a blank expression. She knew exactly what Tess was talking about, but like everything else she has ever done in her life, she would be dammed if she ever confessed to doing it. "Tess, what a pleasant surprise!" She twisted her face into a confused expression and looked at her with slight concern. "What are you talking about? I haven't messed with your little coven, I've been working."
"Big? Nah, I don’t think so. At least, nothing that should affect you."
"There’s the whole Summerdale thing."
"That's a relief. Besides, I think I'm caught up on my coven drama."
"Tell me more."
Are you threatening the whole coven now? Your issue is with me, you don’t need to drag anyone else into it. Leave my coven out of it.
Plus, Tess would be able to fix anything you did anyway.
So paranoid, Naomi. You should go talk to someone.
That's where your wrong though, sweetie. There are some things only a Supreme can do. And, well, in case you forgot, that's me. You know what? I think you did my coven a huge favor in leaving it. Now there are no more weak links.
I didn’t mean it to ‘go against you’, I just belong better with the Danvers.
I — wait what do you mean? Are you threatening me?
Seems like treason to me.
Not at all, sweetheart. I've just heard a lot of the new members of Tess's seem to be coming down with these awful headaches. Headaches that make you regret waking up the next day, actually.
"Well for your sack I hope thats the truth because you and I know how easily a new supreme can rise to power. Even more so when its clearly that witches rightful place." Nate smirked. "I mean it was sweet of you to keep the position warm for the Danvers witch. I’m sure she’ll appreciate it."
"She's going to have to kill me to get that position, and we know she doesn't have the guts to." She smiles to herself, "Some people aren't cut out for the sacrifice, you know? Nate, it's really hot how you're trying to intimidate me. Sadly, not hot enough."
Stella, I —
You know what, I’m done apologizing. I’m glad I’m a part of the Danvers coven, I’m happy with my decision.
-Stella smiles and speaks to her calmly- Oh Naomi, you were always my favorite. But unfortunately, even I can't prepare you for what could happen to you since you chose to go against the Supreme.
If your head starts to hurt in the next few days, let me know.
"I can take a joke, your just not funny love." He shrugged his shoulders without a care int he world. "A good fuck sure, but not funny in the slightest." He added. "Whatever you say love whatever you say. I just know what I’ve seen."
"I don't need to be funny. I'd rather be powerful....Oh wait, I already am." She smiles at him. "Like I said, it was a minor setback. But it won't happen again."
"This town just celebrates everything, which is were the weird comes in."
"What's wrong with being thankful? We aren't dead, we all have traditions, so we have every reason to celebrate!"
"How was your trip?"
"Very educational, very formal." She gives him a small smile. "But at the same time it was much-needed. Has anything big happened here? Besides the festival."
You told me you would have my car fixed two hours ago.
Awesome, I guess I’m walking home.
And you told me you were loyal! Guess things don't always work out the way you think they will.
Stella.
Naomi has joined my coven, yes. She made the decision on her own — something about a lack of support? I’m not going to presume to make any assumptions about your coven, Stella, but Naomi didn’t seem to be happy.
Naomi was just fine. She never complained to me before. If she would have, I would have done something about it. Now, she was one of my most loyal members, and you are telling me it was all her decision? No brainwashing?
Okay guys, fun’s over. Coven roll call - you know the drill. Where is everyone how is everyone, and what do Ace and I need to repair that might have been destroyed by your powers?
Stella here! Not in your coven. But a little blonde I know who used to be in mine has apparently hopped over to yours.
Great.
Couples everywhere, how romantic.
"It's a disease. Temporary." She gives the girl a smile. "Why? Does one of those couples have someone you rather see single?"
"Having fun there?" Christian quirked a brow at the individual inhabiting his office space.
"Oh, I'm doing just fine, thank you for asking." She looks up at him and smirks. "Just wanting to see if you had some time to chat."
