I thought green onions/Alliums were nitrogen fixers, but google is telling me no, is this true?
Unfortunately, Google is right in this case - onions/Alliums aren’t nitrogen fixers. In fact, planting them near nitrogen fixers can actually keep the nitrogen fixers from putting nitrogen back into the soil. That’s because the nitrogen-fixing process relies on a bacteria that can pull nitrogen out of a plant’s roots and into the soil, and Alliums’ mild antibacterial/antimicrobial properties kill off those bacteria. They also require a lot of nutrients in general to grow (although the root/bulb-based Alliums more so than green onions), so they’re actually likely to deplete nitrogen in the soil.
If you’re interested in learning more about nitrogen fixers, this article has a big list of nitrogen-fixing plants, and this article talks more about the science behind nitrogen fixing in general. I hope this helps!

On Android
With the release of Android 12, Google began allowing users to delete their ad ID permanently. On devices that have this feature enabled, you can open the Settings app and navigate to Privacy > Ads. Tap “Delete advertising ID,” then tap it again on the next page to confirm. This will prevent any app on your phone from accessing it in the future.
On iOS
To see which apps you have previously granted access to, go to Settings > Privacy > Tracking. You can set the “Allow apps to Request to Track” switch to the “off” position (the slider is to the left and the background is gray). This will prevent apps from asking to track in the future. If you have granted apps permission to track you in the past, this will prompt you to ask those apps to stop tracking as well. You also have the option to grant or revoke tracking access on a per-app basis.
Apple has its own targeted advertising system, separate from the third-party tracking it enables with IDFA. To disable it, navigate to Settings > Privacy > Apple Advertising. Set the “Personalized Ads” switch to the “off” position to disable Apple’s ad targeting.
btw unpopular opinion probably but the fact that we have to pay for a visa before it is approved it is actually stealing money from us. Same thing with those english certificates they make you take for international work. US$400 for the visa that you have to pay BEFORE you have the interview to get it approved. US$200 every time you renovate the certificate that "validates" that you can speak english to a professional level, and its only valid for 2 years. You dont get reimbursed if you fail in a country where that amount of money is way too much. How much do the US and England make by failing people and taking their money.

Are you on HRT?
Yes

Actually let me go ahead and say this because people have been commenting about Twilight on some of my La Push photos, and people get nostalgic for the Twilight series in autumn so there's always an uptick in Twilight content across social media platforms this time of year: It's not only outrageously disrespectful to record 'funny' Twilight content at La Push, it's also in direct violation of the Quileute Tribal Council's media policies. Yes, even for personal use:
I've seen several videos on Instagram, Tiktok, and Tumblr of people running in slow motion on beaches in La Push to the Twilight soundtrack. It's not funny. It's not cute.
If you're planning to visit La Push, take 2 minutes to review that policy and the Quileute Tribe's etiquette expectations.
Please stop making Twilight jokes & references on posts about La Push that have nothing to do with Twilight. I delete those comments from my posts.
Yes, plenty of people will remember several popular posts I made years ago about the Twilight vampires. I read the first book once, in 2007. I made posts about Twilight without remembering many details of the story, and I was ignorant to the damage the series had done (and still does) to the Quileute Tribe. I'm not posturing as 'pure' or better than anyone else in that regard.
Only that I learned, and now I know better. You can too: Read about Quileute Facts vs. Twilight Fiction.
And I've said this before: I can't actually stop you from engaging in Twilight media. But consider donating what you have or would spend on anything Twilight to the the Quileute Tribe's Move to Higher Ground fund:
What’s at stake? Living in a tsunami zone at the edge of the Pacific Ocean, a catastrophic earthquake can wipe out our community in less than 10 minutes – an entire generation of the Quileute people will cease to exist. We need your help to move our tribal community from a disaster zone to a safer, better, and higher ground.
creating a new OC. He's a doctor who treats weird kink furries. his bit is that every patient who comes into his office he has to figure out how to complete the checkup while working around some weird toon-logic contrivance. He's like the doctor house of kink because he's the only one in his field capable of getting results. He's massively overworked and he's been IP banned from the e621 forums.
His name is Doctor RJ Yiphman and he's one wrong move away from getting fired.

oh my god god god god god my dad just tried to complain about me wearing earrings with ghosts on them because they're "not very festive" so i said Well Actually ghosts are very appropriate for christmastime and he said tell you what if you can show me a single christmas themed thing that has ghosts in it i won't say another word about your fashion choices this entire holiday. i Promise. so i got him to lean in realllllll close as i opened up the browser app on my phone and slowly began to type "A CHRISTMAS CAROL" while the blood rapidly drained from his face.
It could lay the groundwork for faster diagnoses and, potentially, additional treatments

to be honest even if vaccines did cause autism i would rather live in a world where everyone is vaccinated and some of those people have autism than an unvaccinated autismless world. like ok whatever. would you rather have autism or polio. autism or measels. idk about yall but im choosing autism every time. its not even a hard choice.
Male writers writing female characters:
“Cassandra woke up to the rays of the sun streaming through the slats on her blinds, cascading over her naked chest. She stretched, her breasts lifting with her arms as she greeted the sun. She rolled out of bed and put on a shirt, her nipples prominently showing through the thin fabric. She breasted boobily to the stairs, and titted downwards.”
‘ She breasted boobily to the stairs, and titted downwards’ is the greatest fucking sentence I have ever read.

I always forget how funny it can be talking to older folks who are totally fine with trans people but have clearly never interacted with us much or at all.
Old guy volunteering at the train museum trying to talk me into volunteering: "We've got all sorts of people here! Bunch of women, even. *points at one person working on a locomotive* that's Maddy*, she turned into a woman last year!"
*not her name because I forget her name
What really got me was that he delivered "she turned into a woman" in about the same tone that he used to tell me about the cool kind of wood they'd discovered while doing a cosmetic restoration of one of the museum's passenger cars.
"Turns out they made that car out of mahogany! Explains why it was leaking red all over when we stripped the paint! And that's Maddy, she turned into a girl last year. Neat, right? Didn't know you could do that."
