always-togetherâ:
When Garnet looked back up at the confusion on her face, she knew that there was no hope in maintaining this facade any longer. At least her name was close to âStevenâ, from her reaction.
ââŠIâm sorry; I donât actually know who you are. You look and seem a lot like Steven, this boy I know that has a gem on his belly button, so I talked to you like him. I apologize for misleading you.â
She looked back at her with a small smile of hope. âI would still like to be friends, though. Whatâs your actual name?â
Her features became alarmed then. Garnet was definitely giving her a lot of information that didnât make sense.
âWhat do you mean you donât know who I am?â she asked, brows furrowed. âStevie. Nora Stevie Universe, the child you, Pearl and Amethyst have kinda been raising my whole life?â
âAnd you said you know a boy named Steven who has a gem on his belly button too? Am I in some weird dream again?â She paused, wondering if this was actually it. âYeah, this has gotta be a dream, first Iâm seeing diamonds, now Iâm seeing you not knowing me. Unless youâre pranking me? Ha, this is a prank, right, Garnet?â she spoke with a nervous laugh. âPlease tell me this is a prank.â
