WAIT. I wasn’t around for ST2’s drop, so I didn’t know that to promote the season they literally posted a bunch of videos made to look like HNL VHS camera footage? There were 9 videos were posted, and they’re literally called “Hawkins Monitored” I’m screaming.

Apparently, the videos were unlisted (only able to be viewed if you have the link, they’re public now) and fans had to find them?? How ARG!

There is someone coughing in the videos? Like someone is surveying the footage or whatever…

There’s a playlist that Netflix made on YouTube called “Stranger Things - Hawkins Monitored | Netflix” which oddly features all the videos linked above, as well as a video of Sean Austin and the Starcourt Mall AD. Weird, because those two videos are not part of the series.
