To practice art and literature is to play a game of chance.
Like an investor placing faith in numbers, instinct, and fortune — a winner if luck smiles, a loser if it doesn’t — so too does the artist invest the unseen wealth of emotion, thought, and time. Out of a thousand creations, perhaps one or two catch the breath of an audience, awaken curiosity, and shimmer in the fragile light of recognition. The rest vanish into silence — no echo, no trace, only the weight of loss upon loss.
And somewhere, within that quiet failure, a faint smile lingers — whispering softly, almost tenderly:
“You are a loser.”

This quiet, thoughtful review for my latest story, 'The Weight of Hunger', is the greatest reward.
The reader said: 'The pacing is exceptional, slowly building tension until it erupts into full blown horror without ever losing its grip. The writing pulls you in with vivid imagery and eerie atmosphere...'
It reminded me why I wrote it—to explore that strange mix of silence, fear, and the all-consuming meaning of hunger.
Sharing it here, not just to remember, but as a testament that even the darkest words reach those who need to read them. Do you dare to read what the Koisakama desires?

A flower fell from the tree and thought, “It’s over for me.” But when it reached the ground, it turned into fertilizer — helping a new flower bloom.
We are not 'yes men.' We don't try to please everyone. We want to live honest lives.
Let's embrace being 'selfish' and drop the weight of trying to please everyone

If milk goes bad, it turns into yogurt. Yogurt is more valuable than milk. If it goes further, it becomes cheese. And cheese is worth more than both milk and yogurt. In the same way, if grape juice sours, it becomes wine—something far more precious than grape juice itself. So remember: you are not bad just because you make mistakes. Mistakes are experiences that shape you, and they make you even more valuable as a human being.
