remember guys. your new year’s resolution doesn’t have to be anything insane. two years ago mine was eat more protein. last year it was use a whole sheet of stamps. this year it’s going to be get better at putting on lotion.

eating is better than not eating. takeaway for the third day in a row? reheated leftovers? sandwiches for dinner? who cares! eating is better than not eating! obviously it's best if you can be eating balanced and filling meals regularly, but it's more important that you survive than that everything you eat is perfectly healthy. if you only had a slice of bread for lunch, you still ate something. you need food to stay alive. well done. eating is better than not eating.

we are still very behind on rent and we also need groceries :')

we are a lesbian couple of a trans woman and a disabled easian facing large amounts of overdue bills and lacking the income and resources to fix this ourselves.

we had an 'appointment' to help us sign up for rent assistance and unemployment and stuff but despite going at the scheduled time, no one was available. this is completely par for the course with everything else we looked into here, with unresponsive people and inaccessible office hours and locations. we really don't have the energy or the time to continue trying to chase down help, so asking on here is the most straightfoward way.

there's this month's overdue rent and late fee and now rent due in january to worry about too. it totals over $2000 and that's just not an achievable goal at all with only a couple of weeks left and we still really need to eat in the meantime. health issues get super super painful to deal with when hungry and it is cold and wet outside.

winter holidays tend to be super rough and everyone's perpetually struggling so please only give what won't hurt you. if contributing isn't possible, rbs are appreciated so someone who's able to may see this.
