I’m bringing the Twitter discourse over here rq: the way amphibia fandom treats its creatives (particularly the crew) needs to improve immediately and everyone (especially Alex Raebits) deserves a giant fucking apology. There are very few things imo that warrant a witch hunt and fandom discourse is not one of them.
No I do not mean “let people draw CP” that’s dumb. Do not infer that. I can’t believe I have to say that preemptively. I mean “stop harassing people for having different interpretations of your blorbos and that includes the people MAKING THE SHIT YOU LIKE”

Every time I remember that not only was RuPaul in amphibia, but he was a really relevant and important side character that showed up several times in the finale season as exactly RuPaul but if RuPaul were an FBI agent who specialized in aliens I have to say it to someone to confirm that it wasnt just a weird dream I forgot wasn't real. And the fact that we have zero information about exactly how this came to be is even funnier. Did Matt Braly approach RuPaul specifically for the role of Mr X, or did RuPaul just like audition for it one day and Matt was like "what the hell sure" and then redesigned the character to be literally RuPaul??? It's been years and I think about this so frequently in my day to day life.

Hold up, so you're telling me that last year, Scar's team had to enter through a different entrance due to the fact that the Twitch Rivals stage didn't have a ramp...
And instead of fixing that problem that they had and ENTIRE YEAR to fix,
They DIDN'T?!
And the Pink Parrots, who keep in mind won, had to do their intros and receive their prizes IN FRONT of the stage?
And Twitch, who knew for a while in advance that Scar was coming, failed to do anything to assist him and make the stage accessible??
Twitch Con, you guys seriously need to get your act together.
We genuinely need to raise as much awareness about this as we can- ideally we should inform people even outside the MCYT community. Twitch HAS to listen to us if we get loud and angry and mean about this. Something needs to change NOW.

i was at mcc live. the pink parrots were also the only team not to enter from the stage bc of the lack of a ramp. it's why they entered from the back and passed through the audience
there was also an award show at 'half time' during which the hermits won an award, and they were the only group that didn't go on stage bc they didn't have a ramp
toward the end of the games, they had all participants go on stage for a skit thing... except Scar (and a few of the others who decided to hang out with him instead of going up, though i heard staff tried to convince those people to leave Scar and go on stage)
there were three moments, even outside of accepting the MCC win, in which they knew Scar was supposed to be on stage, and they did not give him any ability to actually get on stage
