Being freshly kicked out by a pair of shitty parents wasn’t a good situation for an 18 year old, especially when you need to pay for a roof over your head and food on your paper plates. That’s where the ad for a store that would eventually be called “devil may cry” comes in. Changing your life from the moment you stepped through its doors to find a red leather clad demon hunter your age with his feet kicked up on his desk.
Whether that change was for the best was up to debate, but you sure as hell gained a bunch of demon hunters who’d move hell or high water for you…literally. Though apparently that applied to literally everything else besides doing the other half of the job which was somehow trying to fill out tax reforms.
This was your life now, and you’d unfortunately have it no other way.

Synopsis: continuing through mallet island you and Dante bicker, have a heart to heart, fight a bird and a spider plus bicker some more. What else would you expect though from two emotionally constipated idiots?
Part 5: sinking in human tears, sorrowful trust, soaring to salvation
Synopsis: somehow a pirate ship in this hellhole of a castle is what you expected the least, as is almost drowning after fighting that giant bird again. Somehow you then do the impossible and find out who exactly that knight in demonic armour is.
Part 6: soul of a human, stars in the void, sacrifice but no martyr
Synopsis: you enter the final battle with Dante after a continuation with Trish revealing her true intentions all along. However you don’t expect for her to betray Mundus, sacrifice herself and then somehow come back for the demon kings final attempt at fighting whisky trying to escape mallet island. Thankfully after all that though you get the smallest bit of closure and go home, the nightmare of mallet island finally over

Synopsis: getting an odd job for Morrison isn’t something you’re not used to but something involving a kid isn’t one that’s happened before. However the most dangerous thing yet is dealing with Patty and Dante arguing with one another

Vergil Sparda should've known he was finished when he caught himself looking at you for just a second too long. When he caught himself waiting for you where he knew you'd be. When he let you under his armored skin he swears is impregnable.

'Sleeping' is a loaded term, though, Vergil hardly finds himself capable of sleeping, he doesn't need it really. Maybe a few hours here and there, but being so entwined with the world of devils he's not sure he'll ever really need to sleep like that ever again for rest. That doesn't stop him from cuddling right behind you, wrapping strong arms and calloused hands around your middle. Holding you so tight to him like he's convinced you'll disappear otherwise.
Probably because he actually thinks that. He still can't begin to understand why you deal with him, how you do it so easily, how you unravel all of the pain and unease he's been building up for years.
His tense shoulders soften whenever you enter a room, he likes it when you look at him, when you smile at him, his teeth losing their gripping clench every time you do. He sleeps… Sometimes. Again, he doesn't really need it, he only manages to get sleepy enough sometimes because your routine and your presence lulls him. The constant, simple, domestic nature of your activities, he would say, is so utterly boring that it brings him to sleep. We all know though that that's a lie, especially coming from a grown devil-hybrid that has maybe known calm once before, when he was a child.
He spends the night studying you, seeing how his hand measures to yours, dragging his fingertips across random plains of your body—your back right at your shoulder blades, your legs, even your face gets an appraisal—cannot stress enough that he's so not used to humans and how they look, how they behave, you're the blueprint for these studies, for humans in general in his mind.

I feel like I've mentioned this a billion times, but I think I've brought it up only once.
Obviously, the Order was a deeply integral part of Kyrie's life. It affected everything from her morals, worldview, down to the people she associated with (Agnus mentions in "Before the Nightmare" that Alyssa couldn't join the order because she wasn't already a believer so I assume that all of Kyrie's circle were just other believers, excluding Nero). But once the Order broke down, a major component of her life was gone, and her life as she knew it was completely destroyed.
It's never mentioned by Capcom, but how would she cope with it? Would it still heavily impact her even during DMC5? I know that girl has deeply repressed interests and desires that she is aware of but doesn't want to acknowledge unless someone else acts upon it (eg, her feelings for Nero. Ik theres nothing for her, but I dont think she really hinted anything towards Nero until he brought it up), do you think she would learn the courage to act on those post DMC4? The other night husband and I were watching a documentary about the yeti where they were doing DNA analysis of samples of supposed yeti fur, and every one of them came back as bears.
Anyway, the next night we watched a thing about some pig man who is supposed to live in Vermont. People said it had claws and a pig nose but walked upright like a man. Now, I happen to know that sideshows used to shave bears and present them as pig men. So every piece of evidence they gave of this monster sounds to me like a bear with mange.
So now the running joke in our house is that everything is bears. Aliens? Bears. Loch Ness monster? Bear. Every cryptozoological mystery is just a very crafty bear.

I think that Sephiroth is drawn to people who have emotional depth, strength/Intelligence, a confidence that bleeds into their actions and doesn't need to be admired or validated, and most importantly: calmness of a breeze and patience of a saint.
He's a man with an eye holding beauty, not catching it. He isn't amazed by a flashy type of behavior, instead he is enchanted by something that always makes him curious and urges him to dig deeper: the more he knows, the less he falls for you— in other words: mystery keeps his attention.
