Habits of successful students
Discipline: ādiscipline is doing what needs to be done, even when you donāt want toā, which means that you have to force yourself to start doing things.Ā
Concentration: when you make a real effort in your work (study, homeworks etcā¦) you will be more likely to actually focus, understand and learn.Ā
Organization: always set tasks and goals and organize a study-schedule. Maybe you donāt really want to plan all the week, but if you just wake up and open your agenda/bullet journal/iphone calendar and write down all the things you have to do, setting due dates and deadlines, youāll feel more conscious and encouraged to stay on track.Ā
Tasks-splitting: sometimes, you write down your tasks. Some of these tasks may be very hard and complicated, and it will take a long long time to complete them. So, you can split them in smaller tasks, so you will feel satisfied after a shorter period of time, instead of studying for hours and still seeing that chapter undone on your study-schedule.Ā
Watch the sunrise: when I wake up late, I feel like I donāt have enought time to do my work and lose my motivation. I literally panic and then I think āwhatever, I could not complete all the things anywayā. So, if you wake up earlier you will feel more positive and Ā controlled.Ā
Smart reading: try not to read your textbook just like a newspaper. For every paragraph you read, try to underline and write down key words and then your question about that subject. Literally, turn your textbook into questions. If you write down question - particularly whyā¦? - and think about the answer, you will be more likely to remember that stuff later.Ā
Healthy lifestile: if you donāt drink enough water in the morning, you will be more likely to have a decrease of concentration in the afternoon/evening, so: stay hydrated. Try also to have some snaks every one-two hours: feed your brain.Ā
What are the requirements for ascpi exam? Can i take the certification even if i only had a 6 months internship?
Hi there! You can check the ascp website to know more about the application requirements and procedure. Application is mostly online up to the scheduling of date for the exam. I think they did not specify the minimum requirement for the length of internship as long as you have your TOR and/or PRC license, youāre good :)

monday to thursday - semester six, week three
my week can be summed up as productive, but only for classes i actually like. tried and still havenāt finished that damn report, but i consoled myself in reading woolfās to the lighthouse and looking more into my lit classes, and the linguistics one. next weekās load of work is supposed to be lighter, thanks gosh because i need this family time in the countryside iām suppose to have as of tomorrow.Ā
spread of the first week of march š± sorry iām very late but iāve been kinda busy lately so i couldnāt update my blog š¢ hope everyoneās having a great week so far š«
Itās easy to get caught up in the mindset of just living from deadline to deadline, and then time slips away before you know it. So, how do you make the most of your timeĀ and actually accomplish all those things youāve been saving for āsomedayā? Itās all about living intentionally.Ā
set goals
For each month, each week, and each day. Reminder yourself of them often. Make them your mantra. Wake up each day and know that one thing you want to accomplish. Whether itās a literal task (keeping the house tidy) or a mindset (be positive) the first step to being intentional is deciding what youāre going to be intentional about.Ā
put away technologyĀ
The biggest enemy of intention? Mindless use of your phone. Technology can be great, but it can also seperate you from the world around you. Set aside phone-free zones: time with friends, meal times, and just before bed are my top suggestions.Ā Youāll be amazed by how much better you feel after starting your day by enjoying a cup of coffee, sans mindlessly scrolling through Twitter, or spending an evening with friends without documenting it on Snapchat.Ā
create routines
Not the routines that you get caught up in (like working on projects for hours on end each day) but routines that create a more calming environment and make you slow down and really think about your day. Make tidying up into an event ā put on a great podcast and enjoy it, and enjoy the feeling of living in a clean space. Set aside time each day for something that you enjoy ā whether itās going for a run, reading a book, or fixing a nice cup of tea.
feel your best
For me, my day feels 100% more productive as soon as I get dressed. Make a point to change clothes everyday, even if itās just into different sweat pants if thatās all you want to wear. The simple act of showering and changing clothes can work wonders.Ā
use what you have
I have this thing: I will buy or be gifted some beautiful, everyday item and then Iāll save it for a special occasion. But, what exactly is a special occasion for soap? There isnāt one. So burn that candle, use that soap, eat off that plate and actually use what you have. It will make everyday feel that much more special.
take time to be gratefulĀ
Taking the time to think grateful and positive thoughts throughout the day can completely change your mindset. Make a habit of being grateful for the little things ā waking up in the morning, food to eat, clothes to wear ā as well as the things that may be ordinarily seen as annoyances, like the rain that the plants so desperately need, or the homework that means youāre receiving an education.Ā
With a little intention and kindness you can change the world, so get out there and do it, babes!

Note to self:
Not every day of your life will be easy. And with that, not every day of your life will be good. But you have to try. Wake up every morning with the goal to try. Try, try, and try again. Be the good. // As many of you know, this week was a tough week. But every day is a new day.Ā
9/14 - My new study desk. Yaaay so happyyy!! āŗļø Okay now back to crim. I donāt feel confident with our class later. I hope I donāt get called.
tried to study in advance for pathology~
Guess what? My ordered books finally arrived so I can start getting prepared for university (basic knowledge) And yes, they look a bit used, but I always buy used books š« Letās start studying, so summer holidays are going to be very productive. (What about a 100 days of productivity challenge?ā¦)
Every weekend of my life.

A lot of students gets lazy to wake up and get ready for school. Maybe because they havenāt got enough sleep or they just prefer to lay in bed all day. But if we continue this kind of attitude, we wonāt have progress. So I thought of giving some motivations and reasons to wake up and go to school.
Learning. The main reason why we go to school is to learn new things and be successful in the future. But donāt go to school just so you have an attendance. If you really want to learn, you should love what youāre doing and be passionate about it.
Friends. Theyāre also one of the reasons why we want to go to school. We want to have bonding with them during snack time and just have great interaction with them. I know that your day will be boring if you wonāt attend school and wonāt see them!
Food. I know that the food in the cafeteria is also one reason why itās great to go to school. Yummy-ness is all over the place! So donāt miss out the yummy food and attend the class everyday!
Money. A lot of our parents give us money or allowance everyday when weāre going to school. But donāt every go to school just to get your allowance from your parents! Go to school because you want to learn and you prefer to save your money rather than spending it every time and not saving anything.
Cute school supplies. Also the main reason why I get excited all the time to go to school and take down notes in class. Iām just so excited every time when the teacher writes something on the board that we need to copy, I got to use my colored pens, show my creativity and it feels so good!
Still, thereās a lot of motivations to get ready for school! Just think of these motivations every time and youāll surely donāt want to miss a class. Happy studying! xoxo, Aqua.
hi ate does the muji pens run out of ink sometimes? does it stop?
hi there!! ran out even if there should still be ink? well so far i have had good experiences with all my muji pens and i really love them so much!! before i bought them i tested them of course and until now still good! iāve also dropped quite a few and they still work afterwards :) hope this helps!!Ā
why did u take MLS(ASCPi)?
Apart from Med school I also considered working abroad, and in order to work abroad I had to take the exam and become a certified MLS(ASCPi). Well right now I obviously chose Med school but no regrets because itās rewarding to know that I passed the certification exam :)Ā
