It’s been a while, and I realized I forgot to update the very place that kept me studying during some tough years. My academic career came to an end last December when I received my results for the CFE I was studying for throughout the summer. I passed! And I was officially done with any sort of studying! What a crazy idea. But I celebrated writing by going to London, and doing absolutely nothing w my free time. I got my results in Dec & I’m so grateful and overjoyed.

But I’m officially done academia for this chapter of my life. And this is a post commemorating it w a fortune I coincidentally got back in August. I’m not sure how this Tumblr studytothenines will continue, but I’m sure I’ll be back in some capacity. Much love 💛

Working on my thesis in the (very quiet) library. Trying to get some work done on it before classes start next week and start demanding my attention.

It's very cold outside but the light was beautiful!

been severely dormant these past few months but i appreciate you guys for 5k. a little update, i haven’t been particularly doing well as i experienced a loss just recently, but with the new semester kicking off i needed to get back into rhythm. now i think i’m doing just fine.

also, who knew redecorating your room and study space could be free therapy?

Currently very slowly reading The Book of Form and Emptiness by Ruth Ozeki. I fell in love with Ozeki’s writing in A Tale for the Time Being and for whatever reason never picked up her backlist. Hoping to get to them after this one because it’s shaping up to be a great read so far.
