Keeping up with some readings for my paper. I have to confess that things are moving slower than I hoped-for, but I'm trying to stay motivated and keep working even if it's little by little. So here are some photos of my work space and my little study buddy to bring joy to your day. 🐱

12th January - what is your favorite winter drink? is coffee considered a winter drink? there’s just something delightful about a warm cup of coffee early in the morning while the chilly air frosts the windows.

13th January - have a birthday in winter or in summer? definitely in the summer. the things i like to do need warm weather. i could celebrate doing the things i enjoy. however, my actual birthday is in mid spring, so not the worst.

14th January - what was your favorite thing about winter this year? it being the first holiday season with my bf was probably my favorite thing this winter. there’s always a heightened sense of stress around the holidays for me, so i was glad to have him with me. it was a whole year of firsts together, tbh.

shoutout to my older sister because her birthday was the 14th. 🎈

i enjoyed doing this study challenge even though i wasn’t the best at posting in a timely manner.

i’m trying to hype myself up for the start of the new semester on monday. though, i already received assignments on thursday, so it kind of already started.

herdrafts Lately I got drawn into writing after an intricate dream I had, because I always dream what I write or sketch, except for some characters I’ve found fascinating when I am reading a book. I am really trying hard to put some words down, I deliberately took some days off from socials to focus more on my drafts (also because I feel dizzy all day thanks to my wisdom teeth). I want to take this slow; waking up early completely wrapped in the fresh autumn breeze, having a steamy cup of coffee and looking outside the window, realizing I have all the time in the world. 🍁 Just a small reminder to not rush things that need time to grow.

Today's study corner for an online class and studying day. Weird enough, I have no idea what to do but my brain is focussed on the idea that "I have a lot to do". Not sure what's happening inside of my sub-consciousness but bullet journaling might be a great idea to sort it all out. I'm also thinking of going back to yoga (at home) and bake some Japanese and Korean desserts. I used to eat so much Japanese and Korean food but it's impossible to find where I live now. So baking and diy-ing it is!

back at Dillons - I’ve been camping out here before my morning seminar once a week, because I like to come and sort through all my notes so that I can make the most of the class, but this morning was maybe the most beautiful so far!

I’ve been inactive for sometime but during that time I’ve just been busy with studying. In any case, my preparations for the uni exam is going better than I expected and lately I’ve been doing pretty well in my mock exams too!!

After having a crisis (which is still ongoing btw) my mood was a bit lightened by the first snow of the season ❄️

Also why did I not believe everyone who told me that finally studying the notes you've been taking is actually quite hard and unpleasant. But that at least justifies me buying more coffee to feel better. ☕
