How I Became More Organized & Productive
Today's blog post is about how I became more organized and productive. These tips will helped me adjust my day so that I could get things done in timely manner while staying organized. It also helped me feel like things aren't all over the place.
So, how did I actually become more organized and productive.
First, I organized my room and study/work space.
Keeping my space clean and organized made everything seem less frantic and all over the place.
Next, I organize my devices such as my computer, laptop, phone, and tablet.
Every morning, or the night before, I create a master to-do list.
I put my most important tasks at the top of this to-do list and worked my way down. This will established my personal productivity.
Next I created healthy day routines//timetables.
Creating routines for my day is important for setting out time to actually get things done. But I kept my health in mind. Meaning, I tried to fit in working out, meditating, or even a chill session so that I don’t override or overwork myself.
I used digital calendars.
Setting out your daily routines on my digital calendar is really helpful because it transfers to all of your devices.
It’s also helpful because it gave me the ability to see your routine by either a day, week, or month.
Some calendars I recommend are:
Google Calendar
iCal or Apple Calendar.
I watched organization and productivity videos for inspiration.
Or even browse on Pinterest or Instagram.
DISCLAIMER: THESE AREN’T GUARANTEED TO WORK. THESE ARE JUST TIPS ON HOW I BECOME MORE PRODUCTIVE. THESE AREN’T FROM AN EXPERT JUST INFORMATION ON HOW I BECAME MORE ORGANIZED AND PRODUCTIVE.
Here’s how I plan and coordinate my school year! 🐝🍯 . . . . . . . . . #studygram #study #studymotivation #studying #studywithme #studytips #studyblr #studyroom #studynotes #mybacktoschoolspread #studygrammer #studygramcommunity #studystudystudy #studyinspiration #studyinspo #school #schoolbujo #backtoschool #bujo #bujoinspiration #bujoideas #bujoinspire #bujocommunity #bujodaily #bujonewbie #bujogram #bulletjournaling #notiontemplate #notionapp #notion https://www.instagram.com/p/CSfjcBhru50/?utm_medium=tumblr
Free High-School/Middle-School Notion Template *Fully Customizable*
Hello! This is a blog post that was supposed to be posted on Monday, but I’m sorry for delaying this. There will for sure be another blog post on Friday :)
Here’s the link to the notion: https://stxdywithana.notion.site/High-School-Notion-Template-fa6754d76fe34228accaa53e28f2368d
So here’s a detailed tour:
In the school information section theirs information for your school address, principal(s), number, district, and etc.
In the personal section, you can add in your name, class, student ID, and more.
You can keep track of these hours/credits to know how many credit hours you have and how many you need to still get. feel free to delete and customize this tracker to your liking.
Whatever you put on the list (or board) for assignments will copy over to the month view below it.
On this list, it starts off with the status, and course, which you can customize, and the type of assignment, meaning a test grade, assignment grade, or final grade.
Next to that, there’s the name of the assignment, the due date and the file.
Now go to the left side of the notion app and expand the notion by clicking the arrow.
The quick notes page is a page to type or jot down quick notes without having to use a bunch of paper.
Clicking on this will bring you to the page where you can track you grades. By the type of assignment, assignment/test/quiz name, the due date, the grade out off 100 (which averages), and the class percentages (which also averages).
We start off with our class information like the teacher, their email, room number, and floor. There’s also a link to a page where you can copy and paste your syllabus. Also a link to the grade tracker, which links back to the universal grade tracker page. And there’s also a link to put your class page there, like your PowerSchool, Schoology, Google Classroom, or others.
Below that, there’s a reminders and to-do list.
Next, there’s a table here for you to put all of your notes, and you can classify them by unit, chapter, or module. Also you can link the notes file there also.
Almost towards the end, there’s an assignment table featured to just keep track of your assignments, this doesn’t date back to the central assignments page.
Lastly, there’s a central assignment tracker there that dates back to the assignment tracker.
All of the courses have the same layout.
Going back to the expander on the left hand side, there are two pages after you list of courses. These pages lets you view your assignments as a whole.
The third assignments page is the same as this, however, it’s a month view.

Semester at a glance
Having a semester at a glance helps you see the semester all at once and see all of your most important things for the school month.

How I Got Amazing Grades/How to Get Amazing Grades
Below are tips and tricks to get good grades in High-School but still have lots of freetime. These tips and tricks were compiled by me and these are tips that helped me get amazing grades. I hope these tips help you. Disclaimer: Nothing mentioned in this blog post will ensure good grades. These are tips I followed to help me get good grades.
School Tips:
Pay attention in class
This will help you retain information more which can be applied to homework and tests.
Ask questions and ask for help
It broadens your understanding of the material you’re being taught. This’ll help you in the long run.
Participate in class.
Stay on task
Not paying attention and not being focused will not help you retain what you’re being taught.
Lower distractions such as conversations and electronics.
Use your freetime efficiently.
During your freetime, complete assignments, study, and write notes.
The more you get done during this time, is the more time you have after school to chill.
If you’re allowed to, voice record the class and take notes later.
Notability has an option to record audio in a note, here you can listen to the audio later and take notes at the same time.
Do your homework on time and to the best of your ability.
If you get things on your assignment wrong, you’d have more time to redo it (If given the option).
If you do your assignment fully, you may find that some of the answers can be found in later questions.
Personal Tips:
Eat three meals a day.
These necessarily don’t have to be healthy.
If you can, get at least 7 hours of sleep a day.
I didn’t get 7 hours of sleep a day!
You don’t want to be sleep deprived while learning.
Workout or meditate.
This will clear your mind and free you from any stress.
Relax and breathe!
It’s okay to relax! Getting good grades doesn’t mean stressing yourself out.
Make an after school routine/schedule.
Make a grade tracker on Google Sheets or Excel.
Make an assignment tracker on Google Sheets or Excel.
Study Tips:
Use memory tricks
Repetition
Association
Study in a comfortable place or setting.
Lower distractions
You won’t learn anything distracted.
Study the material you learned that school day.
Write notes from your books, readings, vocabulary, in-class notes, kahoots, and etc.
Don’t type notes! Only type in class.
Study material for the next days test(s).
In one day, you could potentially be studying what you learned that same day and the material for the next days test.
Read over your notes multiple time to embed it in your memory.
Study in 30 minute intervals and take 5 minute breaks.
Make sure to eat a snack during your 5 minute break.
This improves your concentration and productivity.
Free Studygram/StudyBlr/ Study Account Notion Content Planner
Hello, what’s attached below is a Notion template to plan your content if you’re a Studyblogger or Studygrammer, or even just a Study Creator. This template is fully customizable, feel free to add more pages, as this one is only one page.
When we first open the template, there's a quote, which you can change. And then you’re introduced to two columns. Starting on the left with the left column, there is a section for your links. Here you can link your website to your blog, YouTube, StudyBlr, or any other links.
Going downwards, there is a ‘Today’s Objectives’ section that you can put your day’s focus wether it its uploading a blog post or posting on Instagram.
Next, there is a calendar to keep track of all the things you intend to film, edit, or upload for the month. This calendar is very helpful so that you can see all of what you have to do for the month.
Below the two columns, there is another month calendar, but it’s more list based so that you can check off all off your objectives that you had for the month.
Going to the right side, there is a section for your ‘Schedule’. In this section, you can write down your upload, filming, and editing schedule.
