#yes i have dysautonomia #i fainted in high school once. i didn't care to be embarrassed by it when it happened #i was in anatomy class and we had those lab stools to sit on. (awful!!!!! why. torture. why'd they decide on those)#anyway. i went into pre-syncope while sitting on one and asked to go outside for some air.#i couldn't make it to the door to the courtyard and ended up just sitting outside my classroom until i formulated a plan.#i decided to take myself to the nurse's office which was on the complete opposite side of the school to me.#to be safe i decided to walk through the interior of the school instead of through the courtyard #so someone could see me if i fainted. as i stumbled my way there i knew i was gonna go down. i dipped into the closest open classroom #to sit down and didn't care about the disruption. thank goodness it was the tutoring center so there wasn't an active class going on.#as soon as i tried to sit down i fell out of the chair and fainted. i don't remember much but the teacher telling someone to #escort me to the office. my deskmate from class brought my things to me. i called my dad and i went home #no one thought to take me to the doctor to figure out why i fainted. and my dad told me i was the talk of the town at parent night #i remember the nurse or someone in the office saying it makes sense i fainted because anatomy can be challenging to study #i felt so frustrated by that. i wasn't bothered by the material. i was bothered by your furniture.

thinking a lot about my alpaca friend today. i miss him !!

#i took a walk up to see him a few times a week and hang out because he doesn’t have any company mostly #these pics are from the last time i saw him in october 2024 😭#when i was last in oregon :( he was so happy to see me #i was glad to see someone bought the empty plot of land beside him. they keep chickens so he sits nexts to them on his side of the fence #i’m sure he’s happy and has lots of new friends now. i’m crying over an alpaca that wasn’t even mine

it absolutely breaks my heart that i’m my youngest sister’s most responsible adult and i’m across the country from her and she doesn’t think i’d like her anymore anyway because of how she’s coped with our awful mother. i wish i could do more to help her
