I WANT HIM
Visual Representation of Mental Disorders
Christian Sampson, a 21-year-old photographer from Peru, Indiana started taking photos around the theme of mental illness in 2014 for an advanced photography class.
“It actually started out as physical illnesses like cancer, but I wanted to create something that people struggled with every day but couldn’t see,” he tells The Huffington Post Canada. “I wanted the majority of people to relate to them.”
With limited resources, Sampson asked his friends to be his models and researched some of the most common mental disorders around the world. His work brought him down to 12 smaller topics, ranging from depression to schizophrenia to insomnia. In eight weeks, Sampson designed and photographed each shot, making sure his version of each disorder was accurate. (Source)

AMERICAAAAAAAAAAAAAW!!!!!!
Is it time for this again?
you bet your sweet ass it is
Tell the girl with the broken heart that there are boys in faraway cities just waiting to love her. Be there to drive her to the airport. Tell the little boy with a smile too big for his skin that there is nothing wrong with wearing pink. Be there to stroll through department stores with him. Tell the boy with the father whose fists are well acquainted with his jawline that he did not invoke that anger. Be there to show him what real love feels like. Tell the the woman with shaking hands that her world will not end by eating the sandwich. Be there to wait the extra half hour until she finishes with patient eyes. Tell the construction worker with hands like hams that life’s true freedom lies in loving whoever you choose. Be there to watch him fall in love with the man who works in the local supermarket.Tell the scared seventeen year old gripping at her skin that these exams do not determine her future. Be there to throw back the first drink after too many days of pen-stained hands. Tell the boy with a quiet mouth and soft eyes that passion comes in all forms. Be there to stay in on Saturday night and listen to his stories. Tell the woman with the newborn baby that her fingers will know how to soothe at 3AM more than the nurse in the hospital room. Be there to wrap your arms around her tired body when she forgets how to cradle. Tell the fighting couple in the food-court that love is never easy. Be there to help mail out wedding invitations the next summer. Tell the elderly woman with stories seeping out of her eyes that she is just as important as anyone else. Be there to cry with her over the horrors of life. Tell the lovers with hands clasped together in anger that passion fuels their romance. Be there to watch their hands soften and lips meet. Tell the boy playing with knives that death will wait until the end of time. Be there to enjoy life with him. Tell the overweight woman clutching at her stomach that happiness will not lie in a smaller number on the scales. Be there to show her what self worth feels like. Tell the woman who feels her bones shake every time a man walks past that there will be a man with gentle hands and a soft tongue waiting to love her gently one day. Be there to hold her sobbing body.
Tell yourself that people love you as ferociously as you love them. Life can be both wonderful and horrifying. People will cradle your hollow body and fill it up with life and love like a candle illuminates a lantern. Be there to shine love and light all over the world. Be there to prove that life is worth living. Be there to inspire and examine. Be there to love. Be there to experience and enjoy, allow fulfillment to crawl over your skin and seep through your bones because you deserve nothing less.
Tell yourself that living through hell does not mean weakness. Be there to watch it end and never look back.

End Of Fairy Tales
THIS IS AMAZING
you mean ‘how fairy tales would end in reality’… cause people irl don’t give a fuck about happy endings unless it’s their own.
u know someone is having a rough day when their favorite song plays and they don’t sing along
No one will understand how much this just broke my heart.
this post got 500 thousand notes bc people think it’s some profound observation but it’s actually about my mother not singing along to fergalicious in the car bc she was mad at me..
