okay but consider. i'm not justifying her actions i'm just asking us all to consider. the setting she's in is ALSO immensely fucked up, and so is pico and the rest. cassandra is definitely a villain, but i actually don't like portrayals that insist on making her entirely unsympathetic because... well it's kinda boring to me? the way it's usually done, anyway. also it tends to have unambiguous good guy pico and the gang, which is even more boring to me also love conquers all proves that my girl is immensely impressionable and her mind was immediately changed 😭
