opened up my notes app to find this, which i think was my sad attempt at drawing bloodymary while being deliriously ill

I've been in a bit of an art funk lately, so I decided to do a little redraw of this piece from 2021.

grace and rocky both refusing to swear the whole time they work together (by simply not explaining it in each other's languages) is very funny in the context of bloodymary

bc imagine simon coming in swearing with his whole chest and immediately getting hit with "language!" and several music notes that seem similarly distressed

even funnier if we follow the headcanon of simon having his own language, which he fully uses the way most people on earth do: to teach unsuspecting foreigners how to swear in a language they don't know

so grace confidently knows how to say the Eden equivalent of 'cocksucker' but simon, based on assumption, thinks 'fudge' is something really taboo and blasphemous

and bc he's a menace simon takes it upon himself to mimic rocky when he's angry so he can learn to swear the proper eridian way

i imagine adrian being highly amused every time they hear rocky go 'son of a bitch' under his breath and a very enthusiastic 'son of a bitch!' from simon echoes right after
