Hot take but one of the main reasons Inohima is getting Inojin pedo allegations is because Ikemoto drew her like a got danm toddler when she's supposed to be 10.
In the anime you can tell there really isnt that big of an age difference, just a height difference, but she doesnt look like a toddler compared to Inojin.
The other flaw is that Himawari does tend to act more childish for her age, but personally you can just chalk that up to her havin a bright personality more so than her being childish, she's just real happy and optimistic and just acts like what she is, a kid, she didnt have all the crazy ninja responsibilities, or hyuuga responsibilities placed on her at a young age, her mom let her have her freedom without any pressure so of course she would act more child like because she was allowed to be one.
But even so there is several subtle moments you can see her maturity when faced with serious situations, she shows that she actually does understand the weight of the things thats happening and knows what she needs or should do to help.
Just because someone is cheerful and bubbly doesnt mean they lack maturity or intelligence, thats the other major set back for the ship, ppl confusing her cheerful personality for her actually having the mind of a 5 yr old.
For those who dont know and maybe dont keep up with the ages of the characters, Himawari is 10 in NNG, she's 3 in The Last, and she's 13 in TBV.
Inojin is 12 in NNG, 5 in The Last, and 15 in TBV
Correction actually, since his birthday is all the way in December, he's actually 14 in TBV right now.
So when you actually look at it its nowhere near as bad or as problematic as ppl are makin it out to be, a 2 year age gap is NOT a big deal, and a 15 yr old liking a 13 year old is a hell of alot better than an 18 yr old liking a 15 year old.
But yea, I hate this pedojin narrative, its stupid and has no basis, but I understand why ignorant ppl would come to that conclusion because Ikemoto did not do Hima any favors in how he portrayed her initially.
