Personal Trainer Food 28 Day Challenge.
Meal delivery plan for weight loss. Products are high in protein, contain good carbs and healthy fats. Breakfast , lunch ,dinner and snack options are available.
The food options vast and delicious, the portions are extremely convenient and easy to prepare. PTF eliminates the stress of meal planning,portioning, food shopping ,prepping and cooking.
All I had to do was pop whatever meal I wanted to eat into the microwave and enjoy.(1 to 3 minutes).
Since I'm not a fan of microwave cooking I opted to use the skillet to heat my meals. The foods are high quality and stovetop cooking didn't mar the integrity of the meals.
The workout plan that I had to do was 20 mins of walking a day. Super easy to achieve.
THERE IS NO SUGAR ON THIS PLAN!!!!
My biggest hurdle in weight loss is sugar cravings.
Honestly the first 3 days of the 28 day regime was hard for me. I eat a lot of fruits and possibly too much chocolate. The sugar withdrawals had my going bonkers . I was determined to stick to the plan and I surprised myself greatly by not giving in to "just one bite" I had often used to pacify myself.
After a few days the cravings stopped . I never thought it was possible but it really did. Then working the plan got easier for me.
A mere 20 minutes of walking is required for the challenge . I covered 4 times that by walking my kids to and from school.
This plan requires a lot of water.
Thanks to living in Florida's- heat and humidity - thirsty -all the time .
I've always figured I had a gluten sensitivity issue and being on this plan took any doubt away. Not having trigger foods such as bread and pasta on this plan I was bloat free and more comfortable after meals. That for me was the biggest discovery .
Diabetes runs in my family and I've always been worried about that being an issue for me, especially with my of love sugar and pasta and bread and everything else that I should have lesser portions of. Being on this plan has definitely made me feel better physically.
I ended up losing 5.5 pounds in 28 days . To others that may not seem like a lot but I feel the difference in the clothes I'm wearing and feel encouraged by the energy I'm experiencing and that means more than a number on a scale to me.
I'm going to continue with the program, not the food delivery part but preparing the meals myself because I do cook meals for my family daily so that part is easy for me. Now that I have an accurate idea of portion size I'll incorporate other veggies I really love. I will maintain a no to low sugar diet , I need my fruits so that's one part of my life I will not sacrifice . ( Up to one apple a day is allowed on the original plan). I've missed my pineapples, strawberries, oranges and blueberries so much.
Overall I would recommend this plan to people who would like to jumpstart their weight loss plans , increase energy and kick the sugar addiction.
