they get to erid and there are suddenly so many demands on rocky's time and everyone wants to see and interact with grace and adrian is on his ass about their relationship and he haaates it so much. so rocky (who has consumed copious amounts of earth media on their journey) becomes obsessed with the idea of running away together, just hauling ass to a completely different part of the planet where nobody will ask anything of them (don't ask him how that would work with a literal alien in tow.) but anyway grace is stuck in his fuckass biodome and it's so frustrating. so rocky spends hours and hours designing all kinds of contraptions that would allow them to run away together. and when he tells grace (possibly guilt-tripped into it before he's ready bc they shouldn't be keeping secrets from one another...), grace wants to chastize him and tell him he should be at least trying to fit back into society but he can't bring himself to because he's just. bowled over by the sheer romance of it. so he reluctantly starts peering at rocky's schematics and going "wait, why don't we try..." and rocky is so excited he does a cartwheel

once again these are all from like the same two canvas files in procreate judging from the same color background. also straight up had a dream where grace and rocky figured out how to make gnocchi out of taumoeba hence the making gnocchi over a bunsen burner
