Dexter could've lived a mostly 'normal' life if it weren't for Harry being a manipulative piece of shit. As someone who went through immense trauma at an incredibly young age, yes it fucked me up for quite awhile and made me violent, but with the right therapy, medication, and help that's all so much better now.

No, I didn't see my mother get dismembered or anything, but I still witnessed insanely gruesome crime scenes at a young age. Dexter could've managed a comfortable life where he was supported and loved for who he truly was by those around him.

Dexter had C-PTSD, autism, and probably an emotional imbalance, and ontop of that was Harry's grooming. If he had just been properly taken care of, he could've been so fucking happy.

One of the main reasons I think Royjamie would be such a good relationship is the amount of closeness both Roy and Jamie require from their partner. Jamie needs constant reassurance and approval, while Roy also needs reassurance but also wants to assure that he loves his partner. They're both also incredibly clingy and affectionate with their partners, and seeing as neither of them have or had much of that, I think it'd be really healthy for them. They've also just proved to make eachother better people.

I fully believe that Jamie used to self-harm. Am I projecting? Yes. But am I also taking his trauma into account? Yes!

I feel like he'd do it to try and prove that he wasn't weak. Like, if I can take pain from myself, maybe it won't hurt so much from my dad.

Jamie also loves short-shorts, and I think he'd forget that he has scars or that not everyone also has them. I feel like he'd have targeted his thighs because

1. he was raped and that can make you feel like you're cutting out the dirt

and 2. arms are too obvious for a football player, especially once he got famous.

I'm still pissed Jamie never got to yell at Ted or the team for them blaming ALL of the bullying onto him because hello you're all grown men take accountability like?? Colin and Isaac were said to have been troublemakers before Jamie even got loaned, it's not like Jamie forced them to do anything. Jamie was genuinely horrible to Sam and that's where I believe he needed to apologize. That's it. Jamie was loaned and was immediately shunned from his captain and surrounded by those who wanted to cause trouble. Like the fuck did you guys think was going to happen?? His only job was to score goals, that was literally his ENTIRE contract, and if half of his team hates him and the other half encourages his behavior, he's not just going to start fucking dancing and holding their hands like?? Jamie was a prick, yes, but so was like half of the fucking team??? Sam was one of the only people who deserved a genuine apology from Jamie, Nate did too but I lowk dgaf about that man. Anyway, Jamie does almost no wrong.

Never forgiving Ted for downplaying Jamie's horrific abuse. "You're giving that to yourself" no the fuck he isn't?? As someone whose completely cut all contact with his abuser, I have never been fucking happier and I think forgiving someone who hurt you beyond belief is damaging to yourself. I don't care if it had to do with Ted's own issues regarding his father!! It was fucking gross!! Jamie was abused and neglected his ENTIRE life, like, literally up until the end-yes the END because fucking TED had him believe it was okay to let his abuser back into his life like??

Jamie having an issue with eating food he doesn't know the source from (ex. sketchy restaurants, cafeteria food, etc) and everyone just assumes that he's being a diva and a prick but it's actually because of Amsterdam-his dad drugged his food before he took him to the Red Light District.

the worst part of summer is that people get sooo comfortable expressing their disgust at having to see other people’s bodies. they’re always complaining about wrinkly old men at the nude hot springs or fat women in bikinis at the beach. I hate that shit. if you’re not capable of being normal about bodies you personally don’t find attractive, just turn your head to look at something else! and if you’re not smart enough to do that, then at least do the rest of us the courtesy of suffering in silence, because we don’t wanna hear your weird comments. thanks.

I feel like Jamie Tartt would cross-dress. Now, I may be projecting just a LITTLE(lot)bit, but I feel like it's something he would do. I don't mean in that "uwu submissive femboy twink" way, despite the fact that he is 101% submissive for certain people(cough Roy cough Keeley). I just think it's something he'd do and not even think twice about it, it's not a statement for him it's just another way of dressing when he's feeling a little softer. Who says a muscular athletic man isn't to feel pretty every now and then? Besides, pink suits him really well.
