One
I have choices in my circumstances. I can choose how I want to feel.Today I may not want to deal with it so I’ll just put a smile, Tomorrow I may genuinely smile because I am okay. I feed my soul with truth , with the facts of what is and what is not, or what others say or see. Whichever I take, these choices define me and truth is... I don’t always get it right. I don’t always get the best out of it. I don’t always understand it. No matter what comes from it and what I come out with, I’m only human. Even the wrong choices define me because whether I see it today or ten years from now, I’m pretty sure I’ll conclude that it worked out for my good, as long as I keep looking up.
It’s time to get off this roller coaster
But first, Let me get some Coffee
Ready or Not, it's Here Today
I don’t think I am ever ready for what comes my way. I learn on my way there. I became a mother 7 years ago, i wasn't ready but I learned and still learning. When it gets here, the reasons and excuses are endless as to why I’m not ready. It’s no coincidence or accident when it comes my way, it becomes a choice and I learn to take on whatever is in front of me. I am capable to learn and it’s here today because I can have it.
The Cost of being “Fit”
Working out and eating healthy are choices we bump into wherever we go. It’s become a “cool” lifestyle. The marketing industry has made us their target with their “cool” patterns and bright colors. Almost every clothing store has a fitness section, I’m pretty sure I look for it. Tank tops and sweat pants just aren’t enough anymore because “I don’t have that kind or that color”. I need what matches my new shoes or I need shoes that match my new gear. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the options, I just don’t need them as much as i think sometimes. Props to you Fitness Industry, you are a success!
