I don’t think aliens will take over earth, octopus will. They have one hard piece in their bodies, their beak, and if the beak can fit through a hole, then the rest of their body can squeeze through as well. There’s one type of octo that pretends to be other types of fish so it doesn’t get attacked. They can take apart legos and stick them back together, and unscrew the lids off jars. If they lived more than two years max they would already be our overlords.
