sometimes i am sat here and i remember that it was elizabeth who first offered up her real name to philip as a gesture of trust (& a thank you for what he did for her)

or that it was elizabeth, the person most committed to the cause, who went to gabriel and asked him to spare philip's son from the war because it was philip's son and she didn't want to see him hurt. or that she asked to make their marriage real because she realised she missed him when he was away at work.

and it was elizabeth who offered to do the dirty work so philip didn't have to continue on. or when she had to do a difficult honey-pot mission despite having truly fell in love with philip and cried alone in the dark because for once she really couldn't bear it. (philip on the other hand couldn't even get his mark to fall in love with him because he simply didn't have it in him ... i love this loser)

when the americans was airing most critics called her antihero/heartless/ice-cold which made no sense (i know it was the mccarthyism) because ... yeah look at all this material.

Can you predict what currently afflicts me? It’s alright if you can’t because apparently I fuckin couldn’t either

Cutting something out of your life because you think you don’t need it any more only to realize that it was in fact working as intended and preventing a problem that will return should you stop doing this is a good experiment to run periodically with something small like dandruff shampoo, lest you start to think it would be a good idea to do this with like let’s say public health and the social safety net and vaccines

I had a liver transplant when I was 14 and like six months later I was chatting with my surgeon and he said “there’s gonna come a time, probably when you’re a teenager, where you’re gonna think, ‘I feel great, why am I still taking all this medication? I haven’t needed it in years.’ and you’re gonna want to stop taking all this medication. Guess what’s gonna happen then? You’re gonna go into rejection and your liver is gonna start failing, and you’re gonna be dying again, and we’re gonna have to find you another liver. So don’t do that.” And I said “why the fuck would anyone do that?” and he said “people are stupid.”

every once in a while when I get annoyed by a pharmacy or don’t wanna get out of bed to do my drugs I think “ugh, this is dumb, why do I do this?” and that conversation slams into me like a truck and I remember that I am, in fact, stupid

If you EVER think Anthony Head is anything less than an angel then you’d best remember that I have always been a huge fan of his and we’ve always had a little contact over the years and he heard I’d come out as Trans and was having a hard time and that I was kind of sad that the photos I had from conventions with him were of me with long hair and no binder and they were all signed to “Sarah” and so he invited me to spend the day with him at his farm and he picked me up from the station and we just hung out and had lunch and he insisted on paying and took loads of photos and had them printed on photo paper the same day so he could sign them to Jay, along with other photos of him as Giles and Uther and he literally spent five hours chatting with me and got all of the pronoun stuff right every time and then he dropped me off at the station, gave me a final massive hug, waved me through the ticket barrier and insisted I message him when I got home so he knew I got back safe.
