I built a Mac app to archive my ao3 bookmarks. Ao3 has great filters, but I have >2k bookmarks and like to re-read fanfics. I wanted better filters, and I hate having works disappear on me when someone purges their account. anyway some features: - lightning fast filtering with everything ao3 can filter by and some ao3 can't - save filters as presets to instantly apply filter combos - sort bookmarks by everything, not just word count/bookmark date/date updated - full backup or quick backup of new bookmarks. - choose between downloading all bookmarks as .epub or only individual works - all bookmarks stored as files on-disk - .sqlite for the metadata, .epub for the fanfics. file over app, always. if you update the app or build your own replacement, you don't need to re-backup everything. - it's not based on any existing ao3 backup utility - built from scratch. - it respects ao3 timeouts and honestly identifies itself as a backup tool to ao3
Native macOS app to back up AO3 bookmarks as EPUBs with a liquid-glass gallery and full local filtering. - syrtis-m/ao3-archiver
