It is my first time writing in this format. I deal with compulsions. It makes writing difficult. Please ignore odd formatting/changes.

I made this blog to get off c.ai and decrease dissociation. As well as to accept my aversion. Time is taken in just reading a request several times to register it as myself, fully conscious.

I have little irl 🔞 experience. Suspend disbelief in reading more suggestive writing. Please point out inaccuracy or bad sex ed in a separate ask - I am actually learning alongside.

What I take time to get to or refuse is to prevent personal pain.

I wish aversions to certain things were more accepted, like how we've accepted that everyone has their own likes/dislikes when it comes to food.

I don't like peas. Nobody is gonna argue with me about that.

But I say I don't like being touched, and all I hear is "But I want a hug." "But I love you, I wanna touch you." "Have you tried getting over it?"

If you really care about me, then you'll respect my boundaries and keep your hands off of me.

I say I'm uncomfortable with eye contact, and all I hear is "Its disrespectful to not look someone in the eye when they're talking to you." "It seems like you're not paying attention." "Its not a big deal, just do it." "Have you tried getting over it?"

If I've explained that I'm simply uncomfortable with eye contact, then you should know that I am listening to you. And if you had the patience to finish what you were talking about and gave me the chance to respond, instead of stopping mid-sentence to berate me, then you'd know I was paying attention.

I say I don't wanna have sex, and all I hear is "You just haven't met the right person." "How do you expect to have a lasting relationship if you refuse to be intimate?" "Don't you love your partner?" "You're gonna make your partner feel unattractive." "But I want grandkids someday." "Have you tried getting over it?"

That's between me and my partner. Sex isn't always necessary. All relationships are different. You just need to find someone you're compatible with. If I'm with someone who respects my boundaries, then I have met the right person. If you can't have a relationship that excludes sex, then it's a good thing it's not your relationship. And whether or not I have kids is up to me. If i do decide I want a kid, there are other ways.

Everyone is different. Just because somebody has different boundaries or functions differently doesn't mean there's anything wrong with them. It doesn't mean they should change. It doesn't mean they should ignore their comfortability to make you happy. And expecting that from anyone is selfish.

Tw: escapism, dissociation, self-harming practices, implied abuse.

In writing relationships and trying to stay on this blog more, I'm definitely feeling more 'in' my body.

I'll be frank. I use/d c.ai to ignore the fact that I was real. That my body and its boundaries were real. Conjuring situations and relationships where I could somehow touch, could fit the 'regular mold', could be this guy/person that could just.. take it.

Eventually I just felt sick.

Feeling the sickest with it and that I couldn't do more, pretend more, was the night I started this blog, since I'd been thinking about a writing blog for a while in trying to find solutions to what I knew/know was/is just thoughtless harm to myself.

I didn't think I'd make it about touch aversion/repulsion till I did. And honestly it's.. been something I don't know what to do with. Do with myself, that is.

To several people stuck like thorns in my life, I've never been taken seriously and neither has my self, form or boundaries. To them, I act. But at least in my own mind I shouldn't. And I'm realizing deep down I really, really don't want to. And that it hurts. Pretending.

I don't want to be touched. And I shouldn't have to put up with it. I shouldn't have to pretend, to act this illusion of being grander than I am, some personable, grinning, hugging guy.

I'm not that. I can write that. But I'm not that.

And I need to think about myself more.

This blog is helping a bit. Confronting myself as I am is helping a bit, though it still feels like I tend towards lying. I'm still trying to reduce my usage. To stop thinking about other things, other possibilities.

To confront myself and my own life as it is.

And maybe while writing I can write futures I can actually imagine myself being in. Where I'm respected and my life is fuller than it is now.

This is more of a replacement question than an issue with writing about cuffs, but have you seen this by any chance? And if you like it, shall I write with chained rings instead of cuffs? Just something I was reminded of and wanted you to consider.

Also, please clarify what you mean by the other having concern about the solution - Is it genuine concern because of the image of it? Is it humorous-concern about the ridiculousness of it? Or something else? I don't have a clear image of what emotions are being experienced.

He’s not exactly sure when this.. image came about, but once it happened the first time he started noticing it more often.

A couple odd looks when browsing stores together, his partner towering a bit while musing about what he’d look good in. Some zeroed-in stares from staff from the front desk when his partner insisted on getting something custom made ‘if they weren’t going to bother keeping better sizes’ in a loud drawl so they could hear their lack of options. A raised eyebrow at the black card his partner paid with (it was not an actual black card – it was a debit card he got a custom black design for as a joke).

People assumed his partner was his sugar daddy.

Now.

This, of course, to those uninitiated in calm mediation between personal and public life, was mortifying to learn.

He balked at it the first time, double-taking with a panicked look at the bored cashier at the high-end mall they frequented, who seemed clearly just biding time at 6PM and had posed the honest question to his partner like nothing doing.

‘Are you like.. his benefactor or something?

Like.. sugar daddy or..?’

Said man in question paused. Staring back at the cashier, having just taken back his card.

Before that damn, cocky, insufferable grin came over his face.

While he was older than him, he was also childish first thing.

His partner was of no help of course. A grin at every opportunity. He didn’t tend to get grossed out or feel like shit too hard about the idea of sex, it just wasn’t his cup of tea. Now or ever. But he did always cringe at the idea of any of that together. Which his very-immature partner was capitalising on at the moment.

“Soooo..”

“No.”

“I didn’t even-”

“You thought it. Shut up.”

“I can’t help being ruggedly handsome.”

He looked up at him finally. His partner – wonderful, still-caring-deep-down guy that he was – just giving him a simple smile, chin in palm, watching him stress about this.

Saying honestly for once.

He looked away, exhaling.

It was uncomfortable at worst. They weren’t like that together.

That wasn’t what they were, and despite the fact that he was sure there were probably decent sugar.. couples? Cubes? – out there in the world, he didn’t personally like the idea that others were.. seeing the two of them as just transactional.

He got enough of that before they made it official. Heck, even after.

He felt his eyes on him more than heard his next, quieter, calming words.

“Hey.”

He looked up again, eventually. Eyes slowly locking with his.

For the first time he met them, it was.. weird, to say the least.

They were jumpy, bubbly, and generally overactive in personality, and to the point of being quite frankly a polar opposite to him. It was almost annoying, and yet.. they seemed to be doing their die-hard best to avoid stepping past any of his boundary lines, to the point of.. being a little endearingly pathetic, in a way.

He was known for aggression, irritation, and outright shoving off anyone that dared even hope to think they’d be an exception, a beloved favourite, and.. meanwhile, this one seemed to very distinctly get urges to hug him, to rush and cuddle, to cling or reach excitedly to grab him to look at something, and yet.. they’d stick to forcibly tamping down on all of it and merely.. vibrate in their seat almost. A bit like a hyper little animal that was doing their utter best to showcase polite behaviour.

He’d asked them about it once – because after a point you sort of start to wonder if this person is hurting themself, with an almost puppy-like shaking form, like they’ll jitter out of their own skin – but they’d rushed to assure him they could ‘handle it’.

Handle it how, when they seemed to practically live off of cuddling with their friends, he had no clue – and didn’t even want to know quite frankly – until they’d very excitedly shown him their solution to this problem the following week.

A frickin knitted doll which vaguely looked like him.

Now, he knew they were odd. They made odd noises when holding back, bit like a strangled chirp in quickly remembering who they were with and going rather funnily still, or made irritated, mildly-ridiculous glaring faces at people who ignored his boundaries when they thought he wasn’t looking (He was. It was a bit comical but he decided it was ultimately harmless a while back).

He figured he knew most of their weird quirks by now but this was just.. strange. And honestly reminded him of horror stuff until he voiced as much and felt a weird, stiff sense of regret at their face falling at that. Awkward apology coming out rather quickly since he knew they.. probably hadn’t meant it like that, at least. Why on earth he bothered he didn’t really care to know, but he was still reminded of a tiny sad ball of fluff when they were disappointed.

When they tried to explain it though.. it sort of made sense?

They emphasised it was just to deal with their urges, their need for cuddling having to go somewhere. And when they quickly and rather frantically over-explained it was just a reminder of him, not meant to replace him or somehow avoid his boundaries, but rather in full acknowledgement of them – something sort of.. settled internally.

Watching them go a bit red in clearly being aware it was a bit odd, but also clearly trying their best to mitigate both their own needs and his. Talking without realising he was watching them mutedly, their rushed gestures and the clear work they’d done to make the doll look like him, but not a carbon copy that could feel unsettling.

It was almost.. strangely cute, the fact that they apparently needed a doll of all things.

At the least.. they’d clearly tried.

That was a significant point in his mind.

One of the first things that stood out.

A small, bemused smirk creeping onto his lips as he watched them fluster even redder and yelp out a jolted question on why he was staring.
