"In the instance an employer makes an illegal request for a photograph as part of a job application, you may submit a complaint to the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission." Successful violation fee collections are paid partially to the one who suffered the violation, which in many cases exceeds a year of work at these shit jobs. There's only two weak points to a corporation, and those are in the budget and in the supply chain. Hit them where it hurts.
Fucking word.

“What’s Hero X’s power?”
So basicallyyyy, he controls the animation budget!
I can’t explain why this image is so funny to me but it is.
Is this Interview with the Vampire?
...technically, yes.
Digimon Story: Time Stranger is getting some surprisingly great reviews so far from people who have gotten to try it early.
Something I've heard from some reviews (such as the IGN review by a "lapsed" Digimon fan who fell out after the anime as a kid) is that the game seems to actually be shaping up to not just be a good "Digimon" game, but generally a great rpg in its own right. The distinction is actually pretty important here- Cyber Sleuth for instance is a great Digimom game, but it does have elements that kind of bog it down compared to other RPGs like Dragon Quest 11.
It should be noted from other reviews as well that the game basically works off of Cyber Sleuth and basically makes things better or more efficient. Basically they took what works for CS and made it better, which I think is a very smart move.
It is also apparently beginner friendly from what I'm seeing!
Combine that with BAMCO essentially reaching out to more niche content creators (such as Karn Ex or Gym Leader Ed) to try out the games before hand and actually doing HOMEWORK on them? They really want the game to do pretty well.
Like they even have an English dub. Cyber Sleuth, Hacker's Memory, and Survive didn't even have that.
I think this may be shaping up to be an incredible game, and I hope people give it its fair shot. I'm not going to hold some delusion that it'll win goty, but it'd be nice if it did well enough to win something to put the series back on the map, as well as more turn based games and monster tamers (plus give Pokemon a good ol kick in the ass to do better).

Some Anti-AI banners i made, anyone is free to use them, no credit necessary. Light mode and Dark mode versions.
Art and writing and people’s rights need to be protected, and AI has been used already to steal, plagiarize, and be used to threaten people using deepfakes.
As an artist and a writer, it’s an insult to my craft to see AI “works” along side mine.
Like i said, anyone is welcome to save/put these banners on their blog, or on posts, please just reblog this if you do.

If you are using undocumented immigrants' tax records to find and kidnap them, then it was never about them paying taxes. If you are showing up at their place of employment, then it was never about them not working. If you are showing up at courthouses, then it was never about getting them to "do it the right way". If you are kidnapping women and children, then it was never about criminals. If you're refusing to give them due process, then it was never about the Constitution. If you are building concentration camps in Florida to keep them here in cages, then it was never about the border. If you're spending billions to do this, then it was never about the economy. And if you're doing all this in the name of a 34 time convicted felon, then it was never about following the law.
NO AZ DON'T PUT ON THE SUIT AND BOWTIE NO AZ TUMBLR IS GOING TO EAT YOU ALIVE
Unpopular opinion but if you don't enjoy the process you should find a different thing to do.
And I think this is true in general but now I'm talking about it in the context of AI.
If you don't enjoy making art and only care about the end piece and how it'll look and how much traction it"lol get online then making art is not something for you, find something you enjoy from start to finish.
Same goes for writing: if you do not enjoy writing and rewriting and then some more and instead want AI to write for you, being a writer is not something you should pursue.
Sure, not every part of creative process is going to be equally enjoyable but you should get satisfaction from solving the problems along the way and you should get a sense of accomplishment on your way of "making the piece yours" and you should have a sense of ownership once you are done.
None of these things will come from typing in a prompt into chatGPT. And I am sad to see so many people are missing on the opportunity to experience the joy of making something with their own hands and brains.
#this is so true#i know writers like to joke about hating writing#but like if you're serious?#if you actually hate the process of writing?#why is this what you've chosen to pursue#just do something else
