*Note that this post was originally written in 2018 and I no longer experience UTI’s but the product is still relevant and dope af.
Whomsoever, male or female, is prone to experiencing UTI's, try this.
People get bladder infections for all sorts of reasons and I'd infrequently get them before my period and it's painful as hell.
Since the last time, my doctor put me on 3 types of antibiotic courses and said the bacteria 'should' completely clear after those courses.
Now, I'm not a promoter (definitely not a lover) of antibiotics, but in dire cases I will take them. Anyhow. I completed the courses and still felt remnants of the pain, so after consulting with a homeopath, I was advised to use dMannose - pronounced Dee-Man-Nose. Or demon nose, heh.
I'm all for natural and I'm all for being skeptical as a mother fucker because i find myself usually going through many potential solutions before finding something that actually works well for me.
Generally people advise to drink cranberry juice or the cranberry flavoured citrosoda. Neither of those worked for me and also few to no stores sell unadulterated cranberry juice - its either coupled with other fruit being the main juice in the box, leaving a tiny percentage of the cranberry juice that you actually want in there, or it has sugar - which is so not ideal for UTI's man.
dMannose is the simple, natural sugar extracted from fruits like cranberries - it attaches to the bacteria or foreign substances in your bladder and it is flushed out of your system when urinating. A small portion of it does get absorbed into your body but majority is excreted along with the unwanted substances that may latch onto your bladder causing infections. It costs around R350 and is so worth your money and health because it's all natural and has no side-effects.
After the second day of drinking it (it tastes like slightly sweet, merky nothing when mixed with water), i felt the residual discomfort completely gone and I was peeing like the best of them.
Information for you to use or don't use - and obviously I'm no fucking doctor - just wanted to share this because lots of people endure UTI's resorting to chemicals and antibiotics to relieve the pain because they aren't informed about natural alternatives.
Ps. The model's expression on the dMannose bottle is CLASSIC but relatable, lol.
