Shattered glass all around

Twinkling like cold stars in the dark

Picking up the pieces

Piecing them together

With the blood from my wounds

I build the glass steps

Piece by agonizing piece

Climbing ever higher toward the light

The light from above that is just out of reach

Let me out of the dark

Stretching out my hands

So close I can almost touch it

A piece falls

The steps quake

I’m falling

Back down

Falling with the twinkling, bloody stars

Is this the time that I break too?

A conversation I just had with my

husband as an ADHD individual

Hubby: I love these cats’ names!

Me: What are they named?

Hubby: @$-@&/ and &/@:!-

Me: Nice

Hubby: Right? Such awesome names!

Me: …

Me: Wait, my mouth responded before my brain caught up. What were the names?

Hubby, chuckling: Nemesis and Clutch

Me: Oh! Yea those are cool names!

I’m so glad my husband understands how my brain works and doesn’t get offended when I accidentally tune him out 😅 I’ve had many times where I’ve done this to someone and not said anything when I realized. I was too worried they’d be upset.

If you have an ADHD partner, be patient with them when stuff like this happens. I promise we’re not doing it on purpose!

I'd love these so much if freaken press on nails stayed on my nails longer than a day 😞 and I can't wear them to work

I do ship them in their own display cases. I’m just saying 😋

I used to feel the same about press on nails but I’ve found here recently that I had been prepping wrong the whole time (and using crappy glue). The set I just took off to switch to this set I wore for 2 weeks.

They also make glue tabs now. Which obviously won’t keep your nails on for two weeks, but would allow you to wear them on the weekends and then easily go back to short nails for work. 😊

Nina updates! Nephrologist + exams + prescriptions

Her kidneys are stable, which was what concerned me the most so that's a big relief. The vet wants to see us in six (!!) months from now because the treatment seems to be working well. We'll keep doing the fluid therapy + suplements.

Unfortunately, she has some changes in her digestive tract that did not improve with anti-inflammatories, so the vet suggested we see a gastroenterologist. I will keep everything updated but that is also something that is scaring me at the moment.

I want to thank everyone that helped us again because this would not have been possible without you. You're giving my baby quality of life and me the joy of having her around for a longer time ❤️‍🩹

Same. I have an ikea shark and a big 160cm long crocodile. And also a lot of tiny plushies too

I have a huge crocodile, a penguin I cuddle everynight to sleep, and a lot more.

I also have the blanket I’ve slept with since I was four or five, and to this day I sleep under it.

I am in my 30’s and still have a very old teddy bear. The only reason I don’t usually sleep with him is because I strangle cuddle him in my sleep to the point where I’ve had to repair a rip in his neck more than a few times.

Also I would hit my husband with him sometimes when I rolled over lol.

Now Teddy sits on my husband’s nightstand and I sleep with him when Hubby is out of town.
