(Approximately) Six Sentence Sunday

Because I saw these beautiful banners from spaceskam and absolutely had to use this one immediately. This is a little snippet from my Malex date fic If Time Is Money, Then I’ll Spend It All For You. I am still stubbornly keeping the actual date location secret but I really need to get a move on and get this finished because it is soooo fluffy and self-indulgent, you won’t even believe it. 

Michael’s face is practically glowing and Alex’s heart swells with absolute joy that this day has made Michael so happy. 

Alex takes the bag from the clerk after he pays and Michael links their hands together, pressing close and wrapping his other hand around Alex’s bicep. It makes walking out of {redacted} a little difficult but Alex wouldn’t have it any other way.

“So, what did you think? Did Kyle make the right call?” 

“Yeah, I think he did.” Michael whispers with a contented sigh, leaning his head on Alex’s shoulder. They are still walking and Michael is probably being jostled which Alex knows can’t be comfortable for him, but he seems like he needs the extra physical contact so Alex tries his best to keep his gait smooth until they get to the car. 

 Alex opens the hatch and puts the gift bag in the back next to the cooler, and when he closes it, Michael is right there, wrapping him up in a full-body hug, face buried in Alex’s neck.
