sigh, i know, it’s biology again, but really my chemistry notes aren’t all that dashin’ and they don’t make me feel as happy as these do. 

I find that with studying, the textbook and my teacher will mention things but not go into too much detail about what they ARE, so I always end up googling things and finding out more. Which is a good practice, but it does slow me down in the whole note-taking process. 

16th August - Daytime or night time – what’s your favourite time during summer?

Summers in Malaysia are essentially the normal weather... but hotter. So I’d have to say the night-time: if it isn’t cloudy, you get gorgeous clear skies and can spend ages staring at the stars. All the same, a rainy night is chilly and cold and windy, and perfect for bundling up into a ball under the blankets.

so i finally picked up the stuff I left in my dormitory back in March, which is why I will be showing off some old notes for the next few days 😂 I’ve been trying to get back into playing the piano, which I used to play religiously when I was in elementary. do you play any musical instruments?

The Crucible

In the play the Crucible, there are several conflicts that do correlate to life today. The most prominent one however, in my opinion is the entire conflict between Abigail and Elizabeth. Abigail has previously worked for John Proctor but obviously as the wife of John, Elizabeth wasn’t comfortable with this arrangement and fired her. Abigail is upset because of this and when John told her that “the affair was over” she was even more mad. She had the mentality that if she (Abigail) can’t have John, then why does Elizabeth get to, so she does everything in her power to make sure she doesn’t “get” him, even to the point of John being killed at the end of the play. Now, I know vengeance and jealousy are really bad things to partake in, they are very natural for us. Someone upsets us, we instantly think how can we “get revenge” on them, and we act on it. Jealousy is very common, and can come in many forms and sometimes without us even realizing we’re envying someone’s possessions, or a relationship in this case. To conclude, I think this story resonates well with problems people in the 21st century still encounter, with jealousy and vengeance being the two “primary” issues I chose to address.

First Day of School

Today was the very first day of school. I'm officially a junior in high school. I can't believe I have one more year of high school left. I've been with most of my classmates since pre-k. It's going to be hard to leave them. I'm praying for a good year.

I’m back from my hiatus and feeling better! I’ve really begun the college grind now as I’ve started studying for my college entrance tests. I restarted a new bullet journal for this, keeping it simple so it won’t be so hard to maintain. how do you stay organized with your online work?

A lot of changes have been happening nowadays due to the coronavirus ☹️ I recently found out that I might be switching schools for my senior year! 😭 It’s not what I want to do, but it might just be the safest decision. messy calligraphy? yeah but not as messy as the Anti-Terror Bill that’s currently being passed in the Philippines

this is a collab with @mrskjournals and @studythunder. I do not support terrorism or anybody who wants to cause harm but the Anti-Terror Bill gives a vague description that will allow the government to arrest or tag activists, anybody who criticizes the government, or anybody who is even suspected of criticizing the government, without a warrant of arrest.

this is unfair, but we won’t be silenced. you can’t take away our human rights that easily.

we’re not going down without a fight.
