Another run done! Phew! 👍🏻
Late HR run before bed! Less than two weeks until my half...I’m getting nervous I won’t be quite prepared for it. I’m hoping these heart rate training days make all the difference.
wednesdays.
I’ve been lazy this entire week. My eating is pretty on point - the whole30 will do that to a person - but I wake up, put on gym clothes, and then sit on the couch all morning until I get enough energy to at least get *some* sort of movement in - usually just a brief core set, planks and penguins and etc. - and then I shower and get ready for work. I need to run more or even go on long walks to get up to half-marathon ability. Why do brains do this? I know what I need to do, now I just have to freaking do it. :| Tomorrow is a new day. I’m determined, after work, to get my 2 miles in. Zombies, Run! usually is a great motivator, but even that hasn’t been enough to get me out and going lately. What motivates you? What are your tips or tricks?
I’m baaack! I took a short (k maybe not so short) break after getting home from vacation to get back in the swing of things with work and school...and also because I couldn’t snap out of a major lazy attitude and serious lack of motivation to workout or eat low carb. BUT I’ve been back on Keto all week and today is my return to the gym. I have a month of serious work ahead of me to prepare for my half marathon in October, but I’m determined to break through this lull I’ve been in and put in the work!
7.5 miles done! It was HOT this afternoon. Aaaand now for a birthday dinner out to our favorite Mexican place!
My morning run was magical. I didn’t have a set route like I normally do, so I just ran aimlessly and discovered the beauty around my neighborhood. And there was a constant light mist which breathed life in me the whole way.
